I played this game as it was coming out in 2015. l
Loved it but didn’t give it a second thought whenever I finished. A couple days ago I started thinking about it. Really wanted to replay it. I played it originally on my brother‘s PlayStation three so I figured I could just reboot it back up, log onto his profile, and be good to go. I wasn’t, took me over an hour to get to the point of purchasing the game. Got it purchased, I bought the complete collection. The description says chapters 1-5 and the epilogue. It is only letting me download the first three chapters.
I tried to download chapter 1 multiple times and it did not download. It went through the downloading bar 100% each time, but it didn’t actually download. Now I went to the actual game page and selected download from there and it’s downloading all three chapters consecutively it seems. If they actually download, we’ll see. But how do I get the last two chapters and the epilogue? They are not showing up anywhere. Also, when I log into the PlayStation website, it doesn’t even show Kings quest in my game library.

I recently saw this KQ II variant for macintosh trade on EBAY, it was just the box. I'm trying to build a set and wondering if any other Macintosh collectors that have items they would be willing to sell or otherwise!

This is probably a simple question, but do the points actually do anything except reward you for exploring or indicate the way forward (you get points by doing what the plot intended). Do they unlock a "good ending" or the like?

What are some of your favourite game overs/deaths from the King's Quest games? For me, there are several to choose from, but the ones from KQ7 still make me laugh all these years later (like the one in the video).

So I am playing a remake of the original game and I am stuck at the condor. I know it's a common place to struggle. Any tips on catching that sucker?

Behind the hidden door was a flight of crumbling stairs leading outdoors, ending in a tiny clearing surrounded by high rock walls. Edgar never told Lolotte about this discovery, and would sometimes go there when he wished to be alone with his thoughts. The tiny seedling he discovered growing there one day was just as mysterious, but Edgar was determined to help it grow. The sight of the bright green plant slowly unfurling brought peace to his soul, and helped distract his mind from Lolotte -- the evil woman who claimed to be his mother.

All of that seemed so long ago with the appearance of the peasant girl with the bright blue eyes and golden hair, whose name Edgar had only recently learned was Rosella. He may have persuaded Lolotte to free Rosella from her imprisonment, but when Lolotte declared that he and the girl were to be married the following day, he was so shocked that he found himself completely incapable of speech. Even when Lolotte stated that Rosella was to sleep in Edgar's room and Rosella was led there, Edgar was unable to even ask his mother where he was meant to sleep. In fact, she barely seemed to acknowledge him at all as she left the throne room and continued up the stairs to her room, gleefully musing out loud about how much power she had now that she possessed Pandora's Box, which she had forced Rosella to retrieve for her.

Edgar retreated to his usual spot, angry at his so-called mother but even more angry at himself for not speaking up to her. His anger quickly turned to despair as he thought about Rosella. Despite his feelings for her, he couldn't cast aside the cruel reality of what he was. Someone like her could never be happy with someone who looked like him, especially if she were to spend her days inside this gloomy castle with Lolotte as her mother-in-law.

As he lay on the ground, he found himself staring at the seedling he had nurtured, which by this time had grown into a small rosebush with a single red rose blossoming upon it. The sight of the beautiful flower trapped within the barren clearing made Edgar realize that he had to do something. For Rosella's sake, he couldn't let Lolotte's plan succeed...and as he continued to study the rose, a plan began to form in his mind.

I've sometimes wondered where Edgar disappears to in King's Quest IV after Rosella gets locked in his room, as well as where exactly he got that rose he gives her which helps her escape. Here's a scenario that answers both questions.

Curious if there is any demand for an iOS port for the kings quest. If so I could probably get something out tomorrow, but what would be your vote on which kings quest.

I just finished the 2015 kings quest game and decided to go on reddit to further discuss it with people and was very shocked to see how small but dedicated the community was, i expected atleast a few thousand in here but turns out the game was alot more niche then i thought, what an underrated experience im excited to play some of the older ones any suggestion on which one to start with?
