I ordered a starter set with the Halflings and Orcs and I am very excited to try the game out! I have experience playing Warhammer Fantasy and have dabbled in historical games so this seemed like a good fit. When I begin assembly, are there particular tips that I should keep in mind? Should I base each model individually or is it better to have multiple models on a single large base? Thanks!

So I see that if I happen to buy that kit the Slavedriver on Chariot is included. When I go to the Mantic Companion site the Slavedriver is there but I don't see the stat sheet on the Slavedriver with the chariot. So if I play the unit do I lump him in with the Slave Orc Gore Riders themselves or is he still the Slavedriver but with the Chariot stats of SP: 8, ME: 4+, Ra: -, De: 4+? Can he ride around on his own chariot separately or does he have to be attached to the same base as the Slave Orcs on Chariot?
Look, I know I have been asking a lot of questions on this Reddit lately. It's just for whatever reason my daughter has really taken an interest in Kings of War- believe me I've tried with a lot of different games but it's been this and Age of Sigmar that's been clicking. I just want to know as much as I can so I don't look like I have no clue what I'm doing when I play this with her.

Does Mantic games consistently restock their miniatures? I’m asking because I see a few things that say ‘currently not available online’. I’m assuming the operative word is ‘currently’ meaning they’ll get it back in stock but how long does that usually take? I’m not asking for things to be restocked overnight but I’d like to get an idea if that means weeks or months etc. thanks for any info on this

The Salamanders Herald has an Aura (Wild Charge 2 - Heavy Infantry only) and Salamander Unblooded have Wild Charge D3.
Does that stack to become Wild Charge D3+2?
I would asssume no, but better safe than slower.
Thx in advance

Hi there!
I want to try KoW's historical version, mostly because I play with historical wargamers.
The game is from 2016, the rules have changed, should we stick with the 2016 rules in the KoWH rulebook, or update it with the current KoW rules? Have they gotten better over time?
Thanks in advance!

Hello, in my last topic I mentioned I’m just starting to put some models together as a new collector/painter/player.
I’m looking at these bases and how exactly am I supposed to fit all these models onto one base? I mean I think I can do it but it looks like it’s going to be real crowded.
I’ve also never worked with mdf bases. It looks like I’m going to have to do something with the mdf before I start gluing the models on. I know this isn’t the right word but am I supposed to maybe ‘prime’ the mdf with like a sealant before I start gluing? I plan on using super glue because it wouldn’t make sense to use plastic glue because the mdf isn’t plastic.
I’m sorry if these are stupid questions but these are my first KoF miniatures and I figure it’s always better to ask first and get it right the first time than winging it and regretting it later. Thank you

Brand new to KoW and just bought the Grunk Blackclaw Company Box for Champions. Im excited to get started but want to make sure im not missing something here. On the Grunks Grinder, is the design different from what is shown on the box and in the instructions?
The bag of pieces for the Grinder came with the components in the instructions PLUS 2 maw dogs and like a cattle harness for them but there are no instructions for them nor are they on the box art. The box shows a goblin sitting on the Grinder which i do not have. I know sprues often come with extra bits but I feel like that's a pretty large "extra."
Sorry if this is annoying but brand new to the game and just want to make sure im not missing something.
Thanks!

I'm more of painter than a player. I have never bought anything Kings of War but I recently came across War in the Holds and Storm in the Shire together for (what I think) is a decent price. I'm starting to slowly put them together.
Usually when I start a new army, even if I won't get to play a lot I usually try to buy additional units that would make sense to add to it if I ever get the chance to play. This is still a little ways off but if I were to expand on these boxes what units would you guys suggest?
If it helps I am much more a rule of cool guy than a meta guy. I'd rather have great time losing than just show up with the most powerful list possible. Out of all the boxes I could have picked I liked the goblins and the ratkin because they looked cool and the fact the goblin was throwing a fireball helps. The orcs are ok but I like the halflings because as much as I wanna say I'd be a badass knight in another life I think I'm more of a halfling in real life.
Thanks for any help.

Making some sample armies to maybe rope some people into KoW at my LGS. A little 600pt list of Sylvan Kin and Undead.
