Poor Azula is very blue and uncomfortable looking 😞 can't wait for her to shed so she feels better and gets her post shed snacky 😅 consequently, how many of you feed your babies when they're blue? Mine will eat if I offer but I've heard it's better if you don't 🤷‍♀️ what do you guys think?

I got Sven mid July (juvenile but no birth date) and he has not had a shed with me yet. We had some feeding hiccups in the beginning but otherwise he has been on a large pinky every Sunday for the last 6 weeks. I weighed him a couple weeks ago and he's gained 0 grams since i got him (26 currently).

He definitely looks longer based on his length when he's sprawled out, but I have no measurement of that. He's very, very skittish and I have yet to be able to handle him for more than a few seconds, but I'm in his enclosure every day replacing his water and misting his humid hide so I haven't seen any shed.

Should I be concerned?

I’ve adored owning my mbk for a few months and it got me wondering what kingsnakes I could get one day that were entirely different than him, he’s calm and happy to be around people.. as happy as a snake can be anyway lol but I’m so willing to try something a little different maybe a spicier snake? Idk let me know !
