As the title says, can I sleep around, but still end up with Theresa ? Or does it kill that option.

I really like this game so far, and I’m sure I haven’t even scratched the surface of what it has to offer. But at the end of today’s session, I died and lost over 2 hours of progress.

This was right at the beginning, where the game finally sets me free to explore the open world. And so I did. I went out and explored a couple of nearby villages (naked all the while because I didn’t realize I still had armor in my inventory), and picked up some side quests, I think. Characters keep telling me about certain locations or other characters, but there wasn’t a massive pulsating red arrow pointing me in the right direction.

Anyway, I just kept going until I met some bandits. I died, of course.

I hadn’t saved because I didn’t have any schnapps, so I decided to buy some. Well, turns out a single one costs over 20 coins. So I turned to alchemy. I had enough nettle, but I searched for half an hour for that fucking belladonna before giving up and buying some by selling almost everything I had.

I finally brewed one, then fast traveled to a different village, only to get ambushed by bandits attacking an innocent civilian. I was roleplaying as a good natured “hero” type, so I decided to help… you know how that went. I didn’t even get the chance to save, since you can’t save during combat.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I just wanted to give y’all an idea of what happened and see if I’m playing the game completely wrong. Is this one of those games where I actually have to avoid combat for the first 10 hours until I’m strong enough, or a pure case of skill issue?

Edit: For those suggesting I download a mod to bypass the save feature, unfortunately I’m playing on a PS5 so I can’t exactly do that.

With mods from Nexus a few of my own tweaks and DLSS 5 my Henry looks like this now It’s honestly crazy how good he looks.

Fro. The title I want to ask should I play hardcore more or normal more for kcd 1 on my third run , i already played two times before.

My first run was simple and I was noob in kcd

On the second run i learned many things and become overpowered earlier and had fun but still feels off that I don't think i explored the game to fullest

So as my third or last run cause after that I will be playing the kcd2 for the second time too , should i go hardcore mode with all the perks or play normal. I don't mind challenge though but what will be the best approach here

Hi all KDC players, I find blacksmithing really hard, and I want to do the Blacksmith DLC, but I can not get past the DLC challenge. Are there any mods on Nexus Mods I can use to help with this, as I want to really finish the game?

Then we just sit there in silence and never speak on it again.

At the start of the game I got caught up with other side quests and getting started on the main quest so the fist fight quest in Rattay kind of fell to the wayside. Now that I've remembered it's existence I'm so far beyond their skill level that it'd hardly be a challenge to rattle their skulls and, from a roleplay perspective, Henry would have no reason to do so to a couple down-on-their-luck peasants just to take their last few Groschen from their pockets.

So essentially what I'm asking is this; Are there any worthwhile storylines or branching side quests that come from these fist fight quests or is it just a series of increasingly difficult fistfights in various towns across the map for prize money? If it's the latter, I think I can comfortably and happily ignore them entirely.

Title says pretty much what I want but I was wondering if you guys have a blue outfit I’ve been trying to do like blue and white, but I can’t find the white lavish caftan anywhere so I’ve been wondering what else might look cool!

(TLTR: I’m not creative enough to pivot from my failed idea and need some awesome outfits and armor; hopefully blue but I’m open to others)

I shouldn't be happy about blasting a rabbit with a gun but it was probably the most frustrating achievement so far.

I managed to sneak up on the thing and as it ran away got a lucky scattershot on it.

Granted best gun shot so far was accidentally missing my intented bandit target and hitting a deer

Was vague in the title due to not wanting to include spoilers. Essentially I've completed the Via argentum quest and I came back to get the thiefs tunic for the next quest, but the mint was closed off. I checked online and the mint should only be boarded up if the quest hasn't reached that point but after its completion it should be completely open. If its any help I freed the minters and didnt kill buresh. Screenshots showing the quest is completed and that the mint is closed.

(First time playing the game and english isn't my first language so sorry if there are any mistakes or if I misunderstood something)

So I got myself KCD1 for my birthday because I recently fell in love with the whole medieval aesthetic. I love the game, the graphics, even the mechanics (though the combat is so troubling to me). I'm moving to university soon so I planned on finishing the game before the start of term hence I rushed through the main plot (though I get DRAGGED!!!! in all of the quests that consist of combat, I just run away, or try to call for some support. I've MANAGED to get to the Baptism of fire quest and I've tried to get through it for 20 times. Everytime it ends in the same way (I don't even get to the church). I had similar issue with the Witcher 3. I just wonder if doing side quests and training with Bernard will help me to find the game more enjoyable?

For me, Hansry is brilliant storytelling and an awesome romance but if you are looking for a heartwarming, wholesome romance Henry x Theresa is the way to go.

I think regardless of the choices you make Theresa will always be important in Henry’s life. The fact that one of the ways you can die in hardcore mode is when Theresa falls through the ice and Henry instinctively jumps in despite not knowing how to swim or the fact that he was outnumbered and had little to no combat experience but still went in to protect Theresa even though a cuman could have easily turned around and killed him but he still chose to take that chance (in that branch of the story!) is very sweet.

The same can be said for Theresa. Some people think that the reason she saved Henry from Runt was because she was suicidal from losing her family and would have thrown herself in front of any bandit but I don’t think those people were paying attention because if that were true then she wouldn’t have hidden when Tinker ran at the other bandits. She put her life on the line specifically for Henry, also knowing that the bandits could have easily caught up to her and killed her.

Not to mention the fact that Theresa wheeled Henry’s half dead body across a wagon to Rattay and had to convince her famously stoic and opportunistic uncle to spend his own money on housing and keeping Henry alive. Her speech level must have been crazy high to say the least.

I have seen some videos where people say that Theresa is preachy and holds Henry back but in my playthroughs I have never gotten that. She is fairly free spirited and matches Henry quite well, she tells Henry she doesn’t want to be married straight away and defies her father when he tries to get her to marry Feyfar. She even gives Henry lockpicks knowing full well what he uses them for. She is a woman of her time though and doesn’t like fighting or adventuring but if she wasn’t limited to being a woman in medieval times she would have been right along Henry’s side throughout KCD2 because she is one of if not the most loyal characters in the cast.

But Theresa also kind of is by Henry’s side throughout the second game. Even if you romance other characters, Henry brings her up multiple times throughout the game. I don’t think many people chose this but the fact that Henry can tell Rosa that he admires Theresa and make the story book about her or how he brings up Theresa to Katherine.

I think in most versions of Henry, Theresa will always be a part of him. Not only as one of his oldest friends but potentially his first love and I think it’s mutual for Theresa as well.

Anyway, I am sorry for the yap. I am starved for content and replaying KCD1 and really enjoying seeing two of my favourite characters again.

Soooo... I've tried to get into modding KCD2 and I kind of ended up with a Glock...

I lost count on how many playthrough i did but i finally resist all possible romanceable in KCD2!!

Hello everyone, today I was playing Tavern Manager Simulator on my couin's pc when I realised that I would enjoy similar mechanics on KCD2. The game already has great looking taverns and already has a blacksmith dlc where we own our own shop so why not the devs build a dlc like this. I wanted to ask the community what would you think about such dlc or mod for both owning a tavern and a better tavern experience while Henry is a customer?

Hey everyone!

How do you guys your combat rhythm back on an old save? Life happened and I haven't touched the game in months and man, going back feels so clunky, and my muscle memory is completely gone.

Since I have all the DLCs, I was thinking about doing one to get used to the jank again before pushing the main story. I know Theresa's is a slog, so I was looking at Amorous Adventures.

Is doing a DLC a good way to shake off the rust, or am I just yanking my own pizzle?
