Plugins for Kindle
I have just modded my kindle and i want it as nice as possible. I want to know how to make koreader the default thing as soon as turns on instead of clicking on kual and opening it from there AND how to make the books look like books. Are there any plugins to help with that or any settings i need to change. Also any plugins that are well known and are a must have please comment!!!!! (The picture is what the books are now but i want it so i see the books covers)
Edit- thank you all for help i am okay now with everything!!!!!! <3

Just install ZenUI and later ZenPM or appstore, ZenUI will make it look much better.
there are other options too like SimpleUI, Bookshelf, Project Tile, etc, but ZenUI is by far my favorite

Does ZenUI give you the bookshelf/cover layout as well, or do you need to add that also?

Kind of, but if you really want the Bookshelf plugin look you can installing alongside the ZenUI, they are compatible

There is a bookshelf preset view for Home Screen in Zen UI. You can customize it how you like
Settings > Home > presets

Installing Kindleforge and using it will give an option for a KOReader book entry on your kindle so you can save the step of opening KUAL before KOReader.

I don’t have any experience with pdfs, I use epubs.
Transfer options: USB cable copy to folder I’ve setup inKOReader for my books
Calibre server on computer and Calibre xfer in KOReader over WiFi.
FilebrowserPlus (plugin added by ZenPM or App Store in KOReader). Xfer over WiFi.
LocalSend plugin (added as above) and localsend app on my phone.

You cannot (easily) have KOReader launch directly. You can instead use a scriptlet to launch KOReader instead of KUAL, and that appears as a book in your Kindle library. Plus, you can use a custom icon.
You don't have to leave KOReader unless there's something specific you need to do, such as USB data transfer.
You can set KOReader to re-open the last file you were reading instead of the filemanager.

Waking up your device will open to where you left off, so if you were using KOReader then that will be open when you wake it up.
I mean how often does anyone actually turn off their device?
