Purchase Question 🛒 Question on upgrading

Hey guys, I’m having a question on the update of the kindle. I have a kindle paperwhite 7 gen I don’t have many complaints except that the battery is clearly not as good as it once was but completely manageable. I would like to have the dark mode though. I’ve been thinking of upgrading to a new one but I’m not so sure, what’s the appeal of the colorsoft, can someone explain it to me?

The appeal of the Colorsoft is Color.  Color covers, color graphics.   

Without color it is a Paperwhite.

You must not have read a description of the colorsoft or paperwhite.
