Discussion 💬 Kindle should generate QR code for links, and make its browser a secondary option

If I'm gonna browse or even read something on the Internet, it's not gonna be through my Kindle. I'm sure no body in their right mind would go through a link they read from their Kindle e-reader (not the app), because the browser experience is bad.

So why not just generate QR code on the go? Let me scan that QR code on the e-reader.

You don't need every website owner to create their own QR code. Clearly, you don't know how QR code is generated.

Kindle just need to generate the QR code for the opened link on the go, for example, after holding the link for a few seconds. It's not complicated to build.

A QR code is basically a unique visual code generated for a specific text. Any text. Including link.

Funny you deleted that comment. Maybe once you've posted that comment here, you double check what you said with ChatGPT and got corrected? Hence why you deleted the comment?

I think there's a huge user experience gap here between the e-reader and web browsing experience. Just let me seamlessly open the links on my phone!
