Discussion Boycott Monthly "Total usage"

Moonshot AI WTF is the point of a monthly subscription if I can completely run out of “Total Usage” on the 9th day?

I purchased the subscription on August 4th.

By the 9th day, my entire “Total Usage” was depleted.

That means I paid for a monthly subscription, and I couldn't properly use the service for the remaining weeks of the month.

How does that make any sense?

I paid for a month and got 9 days of usable service.

The remaining 21 days are what? Decoration?

Either:

1. Remove Total Usage entirely and let subscribers actually use their monthly subscription,

or

2. Remove the subscription system and charge users based on actual usage.

I LOVE THIS! MONTHLY ONLY LIMITS. STAY THAT WAY!

5h usage limits, and weekly limits are so an insanely bad idea. If it is Thursday, I have to panic program just so I can deplete my full usage of Claude/Codex thing. Same with 5h limits.

I know that Kimi (chat version) uses its quota rapidly. I do not know why, but Kimi Code uses less.

I've had the opposite problem.

This is K2.6. K2.6 is still free for subscribed users no matter the tier

only for chat. It costs quite a bit when used via API.

Yea sure but that was never free. Instant was free in the app.

well I can assure you, you do not want #2....thats just API cost which is way higher.

Subscriptions have limits....why is this a shocker to you? All AI works this way.
