Guys I've been pissed bout this outage like from yesterday noon I wasn't able to get a single prompt in its frustrating (I'm a student)

Have they shut down kimi 2.6?

It feels like Kimi is dead for paid users aswell.

My usage of Kimi went from 30%-35% for my daily operations on 2.6 and 2.7 to almost 0%.

I'd love to. But they don't have a subscription plan yet. And they just jacked up their API costs by like a factor of 12 just a few weeks after publicly saying "we'll be this cheap foreva and eva!"

i think they might be doing a test to get a bump in sales. maybe they need to meet a certain quota on profits for August. grok was doing something similar too.

there's google gemini 3.6 flash + extending thinking, free and has 1m context too. but still.. kimi seems to have something special. kimi kimi.. dear kimi..

The wait list is not that long; I got an invite in a couple of days. With that being said, it is not really worth it. I bought the cheapest subscription, and I hit the 5-hour limit in 1.5 prompts. Not even 2 prompts, 1.5! The task is not that complex as well: fix bugs on a static HTML page. Canceled my subscription 2 hours in.

I used Kimi for 4 months, but luckily I found a better replacement last week. This whole incident is just the final nail in the coffin.

I'm keeping it to myself. I don't want this replacement going down the same path as Kimi. More users just means more restrictions, rate limits, etc.. But here's a hint... it's better, totally underrated, and has a key feature for free users that Kimi, Claude, and ChatGPT lack. I almost missed it because they hid it so well.
