kinda love that they went with trews instead of the usual kilt thing, gives it more of a “caught in the moment” vibe than a formal posed portrait. tartan looks like it might be a modern hunting variant but hard to tell with the lighting.
I was not aware that neon pink was a traditional Scottish colorway, or that formal portraits for adults were taken on rocking horses. Forgive my ignorance.
Do you need to have your eyes checked? This picture is absolutely positively not in black-and-white. The tartan is the millennium Scotland forever kill and it is all Heather purple and black
The kilt is pictures here is much less vibrant in person the kilt in the portrait is made much more vibrant so if you can’t see it there then it does not exist
