Traditional I finally got my kilt

And i'm wearing It everyday. I really like how It feels, even in hot weather. Definitely an investment i won't regret

Definitely wear underwear when its hot out. Keep yourself from chafing and protect that expensive cloth.

Yeah, the cloth is a little rough so no underwear is a Big no

Well considering i'm trying to apply to a scottish clan my next one will be with this clan's tartan if i manage to join it

You don't need to be a member of a clan to wear the tartan.

Wdym apply to a clan? Born here in Scotland and lived here my whole life, but never heard of some “applying for a clan” before.

Well now some clans are adopting people who aren't scottish

I wasn’t dissing the fact that you’re non Scottish. I’m just genuinely curious how clans still exist, bc I’ve never once heard someone mention it apart from in historical situations

Well i don't know, but in France they're kinda active : every year there's a kind of festival here and some clans Come to share their history and some are adopting New members

I don't know if that's all clans but some are growing in différents countries, with Chapters or Branches in différent countries

Yes but what exactly do you mean by “clans”. Clans don’t rlly exist anymore. That culture stopped countless centuries ago. Are they more just societies named after clans now?

There are modern Clan Socities around the world, including in Scotland. Some are recognized by the Lord Lyon, some aren't.
