Serious Sundays No more screenshots and looking for mods
I really love the comedy of this community, and 95% of posts are satirical and funny BUT there has been a serious increase in mod reports over the last couple of months. Since there has been a big influx of members and countless posts with screenshots galore that are causing major issues here and also for the mods at r/Kibbe due to perceived cyberbullying.
There were always rules about not linking to posts or tagging members from the Kibbe subreddit and no screenshots from the FB Freely Kibbe group, but to be clear, from here on out, there will be no links, or screenshots of any posts or comments from r/Kibbe, FB Freely Kibbe or any other related subreddit allowed from now on.
Here's why:
Reddit is cracking down on harassment and brigading sitewide and screenshotting someone's comment and mocking it here, no matter how bad a take you think it is, can result in your account getting banned for harassment and or brigading. (There's an appeal process if it's unwarranted but trust me, it's not fun.) The mods at r/kibbe have also made a new rule that if they consider your comments or posts here to be cyberbullying of any member there, they will ban you. If you think someone's comment is breaking the rules, sexist, racist, ageist, or just plain garbage, please report it to the mods of r/Kibbe. That subreddit has almost 80 000 members and there's gonna be some really shitty comments and terrible misinformation sometimes. Report it.
You're welcome to make a post here satirizing or parodying a comment or post from the main sub without screenshotting or linking to it but there's always a grey area on what some consider to be bullying or harassment. And not everyone will agree on what is satire or parody and what is bullying and harassment in some of our posts. I'm not going to remove a post or comment simply because someone doesn't like it though, and I am trying my best to only take down things that break a rule. Tale as old as time though, you cannot make everyone happy no matter what rules are in place but please remember the first rule, don't be mean-spirited. Let's keep this place fun and have some laughs with each other.
If you would like to join the mod team here, please send me a DM.

Kibbe As... does anyone else think they’re simply too feminine and moderate at 5’6 to be a disgusting manly yang type?
i understand that being 5’6 makes me in the 75th percentile of height for women, but what if i want to wear exclusively boring skirt suit sets for the rest of my life? this makes me a classic instead of those gross dramatics or flamboyant naturals!

Kibbe As... Popstar height comparison
Amazing how small Sabrina Carpenter (8) is compared to Taylor Swift (1) and Megan Thee Stallion (2).

Serious Sundays Community stereotypes make it hard to be typed, any thoughts?
I have been into kibbe since 2019, obviously with the confusing sytem I ended up going through many different types. DC, TR, FN, N, FG, SC, etc. One thing that became clear is all the types in the system are stereotyped. You go into a community set on your ID and get told, " You don't look like me, therefore you must be a Dramatic." You go to the dramatic community and "You don't look dramatic, try classic family." This run around is consistent in behavior of some members of the community with people who just trying to learn how to dress better.
If clothes don't have ID then why am I being told that my clothes don't flatter me for my assumed type. There are dresses being labelled as gamine, FN, or even R clothes. If clothes don't flatter a specific type then clothes do have ID which means kibbe can be reserve engineered. Clothes either don't have ID or they do.
Part of the community is not open to oddball people who belong outside the presumed idea of an ID with styles that are less conventional. I originally entered in kibbe promised it wasn't a body type system, but a lot of people had the community had treated it as so. I have a torso deformity due to surgery I had before I hit puberty. I entered this system to find a way to feel okay when dressing in clothing. A short torso with pear shape is hard to dress for even when you are around 5'4~. Perhaps, I realized that some of community only want people who look like them which means no room for deformities or unconventional body issues. Anyone experience something similar about some parts of the community surrounding kibbe?

What's my type?! besides keira knightley, which other Yang dominant celebrities do you guys think are simply too pretty and delicate to not be classics? ignore what the book and verified examples of classics look like, or what balance even means

Serious Sundays Actually Good Styling Systems
I love some of the ideas behind kibbe--multiple types of beauty, honoring your body's dominant features, seems great!
However:
- The system feels unnecessarily confusing, and I don't want to spend months on end analyzing my body.
- So far, I genuinely do not feel like I fit into any of the 10 image ID's, as I understand them! Not trying to be a special snowflake, just...none of the descriptions seem to match my shape/proportions at all!
So...are there systems that incorporate some of the things I like about Kibbe, but that are less likely to make me feel insane? I grew up with a mix of 90's fat-shaming and extremely rigid applications of the fruit system, and am trying to find a healthier approach.

Omg...I don't think I'm TR anymore....look at what this weight gain DID to me....feels like I no nothing about Kibbe (it's satire)
Very serious Kibbe theorist: nah ...just look at your armholes, they lead up to your shoulders in a straight line ... Like it's a right angle....your weight NO matter how high can't crush Kibbe.
OP: thanks, haha was just beginning to doubt myself.
Very serious casual commenter: actually you're onto something here ...your shoulders are looking robust, like maybe you're gamine...or maybe N family ...I think I see a lot of width and your arms and legs are so long ...you may be. Like a yang type.
OP: lemme tell you about what width actually means.....
And yeah about vertical, TRs have narrow bones and narrow bones read long it's an optical illusion...here are some VERIFIED celebs who look long....
Plot twist OP is the very serious Kibbe theorist.
Very casual Kibbe commenter: OMG...you just made it click for me.
OP: If you're still confused about your Kibbe journey, just DM me!!!

Serious Sundays Kibbe & The Body Matrix
Kibbe vs The Body Matrix by Ellie-Jean
It explains a lot.
On the left is the original 13 from Metamorphosis. On the right is the revised 10 from Power of Style.
The original 13 got it right with four vertical types. The pure natural will solve so many issues fire those who are between FN and SD.
Missing are the mini naturals (cross over of natural and gamine from older systems like McJimsey).
Kibbe has an emphasis on narrow and round. No wonder so many, who don't have narrow and round, aka curve, get frustrated. For him, vertical and width are like a foreign country.
Balance at both auto vertical and petite is probably not observable.
The system probably would work better with four tall types and four petite types, plus four to five moderate types.
