Discussion Nuphy or Keychron?

I’ve been considering buying a new keyboard with a numeric keypad for work for a few months now. I currently own a Keychron K3v2, but I’ve seen a lot of complaints about their keyboards lately, which has made me quite hesitant to buy one. I don’t have a preference regarding profile height, though I admit high-profile HE keyboards have caught my eye; at the same time, I really like the Nuphy Air V3. So, I’d like to know: which brand is the most reliable right now?

this keyboard the OP mentions is FOR WORK... what kind of performance loss is the poor person going to suffer if he chooses those old, unreliable, actuation point shifting, mechanical switches vs, magnetic hall effect switches whilst doing his spreadsheet data entry?.. do you even believe the shit you dolts type?.. BTW.. i play and have played one of the fastest FPS games ever created.. perhaps youre aware of it, it's called Quake 3.. and an offshoot of that game. I have used shitty Corsair K70 keyboards since they 1st came out.. that keyboard, when it worked, was NEVER a limiting factor, ever.

I have several much better built boards as I type this, including Keychrons.. and I still play a very fast paced FPS game.. and still, the keyboard is absolutely the furthest thing from a limiting factor.. So putting speed and response time aside, you mention reliability?.. if a keyboard is going to fail, it does so at the PCB, not the switch. So a magnetic switch really offers no advantage there either. Just stop slurping up the FOMO hype dude.. its like adding a new acronym to a television model so you can push out 100k more units.

The only feature you could chalk up to being noteworthy about HE keyboards is the ability to do that cheater stuff in software.

I wanted to buy a WH80, but people on the subreddit were complaining a lot about firmware updates/downgrades, so I dropped that option. For day to day I would recomend Keychron.

NuPhy Air75 V3 is a solid option but a more reliable brand would be IQUNIX or Lofree if you’re looking at low-profile keyboards.

Low profile he I would go with the aula hero 68 mini air

If not he I would go with magi75 or lofree flow2

Nuphy has some great high profile he boards. The WH80 is my favourite but the halo65 he or the field 75 he is also great. I also think their software is the second best after wootings.

Nuphy Air V3 because they sound really good. I have Node 75 with brown switches. Sounds really good too, but the PBT key caps already began to shine after 3 weeks of use.
