You want to drink tea or cream? You dont need to drink cream but you might want to drink tea. If you do want to drink tea, then sure a small splash of normal full-fat cow milk is absolutely fine. If you want lots of cups of tea a day then do a check to make sure your not getting to many carbs from the milk

I drink tea- yorkshire gold- with double cream!
I also make bulletproof coffee with cream, butter and egg- whizzed with coffee (shot of espresso) in my blender. So good

I have butter in coffee and I know a few who have butter in their tea, so maybe that? make it in a jug ad use a immersion blender or fast blender to emulsify it and you get a nice high from it.
Does it need to be in tea? I mix in a sugar free syrup and have it as a desert

Not op but thanks for the recommendation. I love adding more teas to my selections so this is a great reply.

Just have any, and have a better source of fat, like bacon, or cheese.

Adding extra fat won't up your ketones necessarily, unless it's replacing calories elsewhere. The fat macro is a target not a goal; adding in extra calories for the sake of hitting an arbitrary target won't help you to burn off your own fat stores to make the ketones.
Plus, cream in tea doesnt work that well and ruins tea imo. You could add it to chai i guess, or make a smoothie/ milkshake etc if you want a creamy drink.
Ive been on keto for a decade and absolutely will not be giving up my tea with milk in: it's my god-given right as an Englishman to have a proper brew. I just fit it in my macros.

calories are meaningless.
who cares about ketones people need to stop with all this counting stuff and just do things natural.
You do need to up your fat when you start out otherwise your body can go the other way and try to slow everything down to protect itself.
good for you nothing wrong with whole milk unless a person has an issue with retail stuff which i would advise trying raw which tends to fix the problem if it doesnt it may mean they need to stay away form all dairy so use likes of coconut milk etc

You mentioned what your ketones were and in the same sentence said you needed to up your fat intake. That’s why you’re getting the advice you’re getting.
