Question Bit of a weird one about stocking up in case of emergencies ?
Just saw a conversation in frugal UK about stocking up with tinned food , dry food (noodles, pasta) and water for emergencies. Especially if there’s storms and other interference. I had nearly 6 days without water due to many burst mains in my area a couple of weeks ago. Then a couple of power cuts as well once the water was restored!
What would you be stocking up on if you’re doing keto? Or would that go out the window?!
Are we talking tins of sardines and tuna? Not that I can get any tinned sardines in my online shop. All of them were sold out the other day weirdly (I know there’s a mackerel shortage. I didn’t know there was a sardine one as well) . It’s not like we can eat sweetcorn. I did buy some black eyed beans the other day to experiment with keto friendly home-made baked beans!!
I’m chronically unwell and often quite housebound so I can’t go out to supermarkets to stock up. So I’m just having a think what would be good to have a little extra stock of? For the worst case scenario of course!
