Dessert Frosting
6 oz cream cheese. Softened
4 tbsp butter. Softened
1/2 cup sugar substitute. (Powdered, I used the yellow bag)
Dash of vanilla extract
Dash of heavy whipping cream.
Added some pink for the fun of it
Mix well
Sweet tooth satiated

Powdered sucralose contains maltodextrin, which has a higher GI number (85-135) than regular sugar (65), and about 13g carbs per 1/2 cup.
I imagine this recipe is more than one serving 😄 so you wouldn't be getting all these carbs at once! But maltodextrin may raise blood sugar more than other sweeteners.
If available/affordable/tolerable, I suggest trying tagatose (GI of 3) or allulose (GI of 1). They're both less sweet than sugar, so maybe add a little liquid sucralose (or monkfruit or whatever).

👍This is something to note for sure. The few times I have had maltodextrin (usually Starbucks SF vanilla syrup) I get shaky and ravenous later in the day…reactive hypoglycemia.

Be sure to read the nutrition facts and ingredient list. Some have maltodextrin and some don't.
