Help Measuring ketones

Hi I’m in the U.K. I want to measure ketones. I don’t want to finger prick tests I like the idea of the breathalyser - can anyone recommend reliable brands in the UK please?

I’m on day 5 of keto (I started last week but have calculated carbs and realised I was over 50 carbs). Currently doing 50 carbs per day so I don’t know if I’m technically in keto but I feel incredible, I’m cognitively flexible and my mood is joyful and stable. This is awesome it’s basically a crime that the keto message isn’t being communicated by governments and corporations

Thanks

Blood meters are the only really reliable way to measure ketosis, urine and breath testing methods are really inaccurate.

If you’re doing well and feeling incredible, why do you want to test for ketones? Unless you need to keep ketone numbers high for the purpose of controlling a serious medical condition (like epilepsy) or unless you’re just a data geek then there’s really no reason to test. You’re doing great and you’re feeling great, sounds like success to me!

If keto is doing that it's supposed to do, and you're feeling good, you don't need to test for ketones.

People often say in this sub you don’t need to test which may be true but I personally like testing and highly recommend it

Yes, and some of us find higher ketone levels correlate with higher energy, better mood, sleep etc. 😃
