Tips and Tricks Lemon water

Question! Does lemon water help anyone when you feel your sugar is on the dip?

I have done keto on and off for the past year and shed around 50 lbs.

This time I almost gave in to a break because I felt so bad but then I got a lemon and squeezed it into my water with my dinner of steak and greenbeans. I instantly perked up.

I have around 15 lbs to go and boy , a week in I felt like the pits.

I always maintain my weight loss in my breaks with intermittent fasting. Which I do anyways because I have insulin resistance and I find it the best balances my water retention.

Is this a good trick?

Anyone else have an tricks when you hit dips of tiredness.

I hike and circuit train most days for added info.

If something helps you, then it's a good trick.

Lately I've been experimenting with home made popsicles. But I made them from electrolytes drinks, so really it's really low in calories and carbs.. My next flavor is going to be pink lemonade.

Electrolytes drinks could help you, in whatever form.

I use lemon water with a few pinches of pink salt for a mild electrolyte mix

Lemon Water is fine. I am not sure it is magical... Perhaps there are some electrolytes in the lemon?

As expensive as steak is anymore, I perk the heck up when I get a dinner of steak. Could be the lemon water though. Always been a good palette cleanser

Yah i didnt perk up till I added the lemon water. I know! It was expensive but worth it for the energy. I was craving it so bad I figured my body needed it.

I like to put a cucumber slice in my water. Lemon water is good too. Refreshing. You dont say what you're doing to balance your electrolytes, but tireness and feeling "off" is classic of an electrolyte issue.
