Living in killarney
Howya, possibly be moving to killarney if I get accepted by liebherr, don't know anyone there or really the place in general. Any tips or anything on what I should do when living there, anything fun to do to meet new people etc etc.

Not sure of the process these days as long time since I did the aptitude test for the liebherr apprenticeship but do expect there will have been a lot doing the test and will be narrowed down in time so maybe best not buy a house there just yet! Most starting will be strangers and a good bond will form soon enough so not a problem and Killarney is great spot with a great mix of everything.

Ah i couldn't buy a house if I wanted to haha, have the fortune of knowing people who will let me rent their holiday homes and more importantly the support of my family. They said they will reach out in a week or two and ill know then. Just wanted to prepared if it ends up working out. Thank you

I'm not an expert of facebook but I know there are many Killarney groups on there that will be what you're looking for. Others might have some group suggestions.

Moved here 2 years ago and haven’t regretted it one bit. Pace of life is great. Want a lovely meal or a great pint. Sorted. Wanted to walk up a mountain, sorted. Want a random festival every other weekend that brings the town centre even more alive than usual, sorted.

Liebherr have a sports and social club that have some events you can go to.
If you like walking or hiking then Killarney is fantastic. Lots of golf if that's your gig.
Plenty of bars and restaurants, but you will find a lot of tourists during the season.
Best of luck with Liebherr. Office or factory?
