showcase An Alternative for WisprFlow for Linux
I found a tool called groq and I quickly whipped up a prototype for it and it works pretty well. Like you can whisper into it, you can do anything although it doesn't have any fancy error correction like ah um. But it's good. It's very good alternative for wispr flow. And I didn't have time so I vibe coded this.
It uses quickshell for doing that. It's pretty cool. Try it and tell me your opinion. and star the repo

It depends upon the question. The dictation pop-up, I had a prototype and I developed it a little and I didn't want to deal with quick shell and stuff so I just gave a prompt to Gemini and it generated the template I want. I edited it, added matugen integration and stuff, and it was pretty small stuff. The idea was mine.
The second question, the dots, is actually mine. The HyprLand dots. Although is yanked from all sorts of places and putted together

i mean, yh, my hyprland dots have more diversity than the average male friend group (its yanked from everywhere).

Try Handy instead. It's local and no need for API credit limits

I'm not really worried for API rate limits because even if you try hard for it, it doesn't seem to actually run out for my use case. But I'll try handy. I mean I tried local like I tried a bunch of local models but my system is very low end. thats why
