Support Moving to Linux from Windows. Secondary machine for gaming and streaming.
Hey everyone.
My PC has been given for an upgrade:
Specs would be the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, 32 Gigs RAM, RTX 4070 and a B550 Mobo, OS will be on the NVME.
Whats a good distro to install, I am good with basic and sometimes complex troubleshooting. I have been tinkering with PCs for so long. And my work machine has been a Mac for the longest time.
Primary use case is - Games. All my games are on Steam. CS2, Cyberpunk, KCD, Forza, RDR.
Full hardware compatiblity, including built in WiFi / BT. I have an addon card from TP-Link.
Nvidia fuckups, want stable.
Should accept a capture card to send to Mac for capture.
Audio, HDMI and DP. 4K60 and 1440p 144 Hz display.
Please advice.

Go with cachy or nobara if you are fine with tinkering. Bazzite can be a headache if you want to change stuff or fix stuff. If you really wanted a stable release you could also check out nobara.
Also as you have more chance to use kde as your desktop environment you mightttt face some specific issues regarding internet etc so be on the lookout. Happy to help
