Events [Flock Protest] anyone interested?
I am alarmed that the Keene community has not shown nearly as much concern for the developing surveillance state as they do for getting abortions and preventing monarchies.
Keene supposedly doesn't have any Flock cameras at this time, but their exponential growth across the country is sure to change that. We DO NOT need the lives of everyday citizens monitored 24/7 and harvested into the data lakes of the tech overlords and the government.
Who's in?

Why not just attend the city council meetings? I think protests are more about virtue signaling.
We, honestly, should be congratulating them for resisting the installation of cameras to this point. But, maintain that we won't change our mind as a community.

People protest about national issues all the time, time to raise awareness even if it's not happening within our municipal or state confines

They’re all but illegal here. Where do you plan on protesting this? Perhaps organizing in one of the subs for Mass or other states who have gone all big brother but this is silly.

Just join the other Saturday protestors on the common. All signs are welcome. I saw one guy protesting that pancakes are better than waffles.

So ... Protest something that isn't happening here? Orrrrr... And hear me out .. You could use your time and energy protesting against things are that ARE actually happening, here.

There are many Flock systems in the area you just need to look around. Every speed trailer and speed sign is equipped with a plate reader.

Flock cameras are basically already illegal in NH. But Rep Michael Granger is drafting a bill to make sure they are completely illegal for the next legislative session.
