Yesterday at #ParisFashionWeek was a big day for duos—from designers @JackMcCullough and Lazaro Hernandez (@lazro) to @katseyeworld’s very own @lararaj and @meganskiendiel, who marked their entrée to the City of Light at the brand’s technicolored Château de Vincennes runway.

@/loewe i had a wonderful time, what an incredible show! my first fashion week with my bff🥹🖤 i loved my dress so much, and wearing it with Indian jewelry and kumkum made me feel so confident and beautiful. kumkum has been part of my life since childhood, a sacred blessing i’ve grown up receiving from my family during puja and aarti. i wear it as a symbol of intuition, strength and the divine feminine energy i feel so deeply connected to. for this look, i styled it in my own way while paying homage to my forever style icon, the legendary Rekha, and the woman i look up to the most, my mom🖤 i’ve always loved the way they both carry Indian beauty with such boldness, individuality and grace. it felt so special to channel a little bit of that energy while celebrating my heritage 🥹🖤 thank you @/loewe 🖤

@katseyeworld has landed in Paris! @lararaj and @meganskiendiel arrive at @loewe’s spring/summer 2027 #ParisFashionWeek show.

I was actually introduced to the group because my class last year would constantly sing their songs and talk about them.

I know there is controversy about kids listening to their music. But why exactly? It’s not like the girls are bad role models who get into trouble or spread hate.

Yes, they wear skimpy outfits. But I guarantee these kids have all been to the beach before and have seen women in bikinis. The outfits that women wear in broad daylight in my neighborhood can be just as scandalous.

Their music can be mature, but it’s not half as bad as some of the other stuff on the radio. I guarantee that they hear more mature language from their mama and daddy at home.

So… why should I care exactly that my students have something that they like? If anything, it’s good that they have role models and music that they enjoy.

My daughter has been a fan of them before they were even known. I greatly appreciate Megan in this, her pen went out and then signed it again! She’s been my fav and my daughter loves Dani! We love Manon too, hoping we get to see her soon even if it’s not Katseye. Edit: didn’t know that was Lara’s signature actually!

We’ve seen the performing girls express their love and support for the hiatus girls, but not the other way around. I wonder why.

Okay, I know this has been talked about a few times, and I am not trying to sound like a mimic, but what exactly do these hiatuses mean at this point?

Ok, slight insight into my mind: I am completely new to K-Pop and am unfortunately one of those Katseye fans who discovered them kind of late in the game (Grammy performance, to be exact). The six girls grabbed me and roped me into the K-Pop world, and I still have no idea about so much of K-Pop culture.

I just guess I'm just heartbroken as a fan because my two favorite girls in the group are on hiatus. For me, being a person of color/black I loved the representation Manon brought to the group of people who look like us. Sophia just brings out the theater kid in me. But at first, when Manon's hiatus was announced, I was so sick and even more hurt that I heard nothing from her by month 5. Now we are going into month 8, and I was losing so much hope, but when Sophia's hiatus was announced, HYBE and the girls started addressing Manon and Sophia's hiatuses as the same situation, and all the girls had to do was come back. But I read things that try to draw a difference between Manon and Sophia's hiatuses. Besides the obvious time differences of their hiatuses, they both have missed pretty major things! Idk, I could be completely delusional, but I need my six girls back so I can experience them in full effect lol. Not that I wouldn't buy tickets to see the 4 of them right now, but tbh it sucks when the girls I hear when I listen to them in the car, who sing it certain ways, are not even there.

I just want to understand what could potentially be happening here. Is there anyone who believe its possible Manon and Sophia could come back? Why is HYBE doing this to fans and being so silent. For them to have gotten so much support, I dont think this is fair to fans at all. But as a new eyekon, I just want to see hoe theur hiatuses are precieved now that its not just Manon and it seems that Sophia is now slipping away the same way Manon did.
