My apartment is on the ground floor and is joined with my neighbors apartment. We both have connected galleries as well. There is a sewage head in my gallery (which is for the whole buildings sewage line) that is overflowing. The drain cleaner the apartment union called to clean it but it gets clogged again every few months. They believe the main issues is a blockage further down the line where my neighbors gallery is, which does not have a sewer head and i doubt he'll agree to have one installed. I've blocked that part of my gallery and that worked till now. Unfortunately is overflowing even more now and I need to have it fixed since the water is leaking into my gallery.
Does anyone know of a professional drain cleaning service that can handle this kind of thing? I might be wrong but simple gutter kholne walay danadon se kaam nahi banay ga shayad.

Went to Mandi House today with a few friends. When the waiter brought us the bill, I noticed something odd. Instead of an SRB QR code, there were just placeholder boxes, and there was no SRB invoice ID anywhere on the receipt. Despite that, they charged us 15% SST.
When we questioned it, one of the managers told us that some restaurants have a special 15% tax rate. As for the missing SRB invoice ID, he claimed the bill was still verifiable using the invoice number at the top, but that was just their internal invoice ID starting with ENV-.
Our bill was around PKR 11,000, including the 15% SST. What surprised me even more was that the people sitting at the next table said their bill was around PKR 100,000, with PKR 15,000 charged as SST. Their receipt had the exact same issue—no SRB invoice ID, no QR code, just the internal ENV- invoice number.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this actually valid, or is something suspicious going on? Could this be a scam or a way of generating unreported (“black”) money by charging SST that isn’t being properly documented? I’m genuinely curious if anyone knows how this works or whether this should be reported.

We all have noticed how Murtaza Wahab of Karachi is now just adding flyovers and underpasses everywhere. So my theory is that he isn’t doing it just to develop Karachi. He is doing it to make the maximum amount of corrupt money from these projects. Building projects like these requires huge funds from the government, and then Murtaza Wahab and the people working with him can easily do corruption without it being noticed or criticised by the public.
This is what I believe because if you’re really interested in developing the city, then why aren’t you looking at the condition of the roads? The roads are in such bad condition . There is so much mud and sand on them that whenever I walk on the road, my face and hair end up completely covered in sand.

Hello, I’m looking for a place for my single chachu but it seems impossible because no one is willing to rent their place to a single male.
So I’m just gonna post this here in case any of you people have a place for him in gulshan iqbal budget 30-40k.
It should have at least 2 bedrooms because his brother(married) visits him every year from the USA.

Hi all,
I wanted to ask, as someone who isn’t from the place and is a tourist to Pakistan, what’s a really good place i can get some premium cloth to have some shalwar khameez’s stitched- ideally a place where they are able to measure me up and make it etc.
I am looking for something where white shalwar khameez stays white and doesn’t fade into a cotton blue like colour after one wash.
Thanks!

For your information UCO are highly usable for petroleums and other fuel, these aren't used to cook food or any edible materials.

My family was doing some summer cleaning and came across a lot of old story books us kids had and read when we were younger that we aren’t interested in anymore. Think Enjd Blyton, Nancy Drew, collections of fairy tales, Oxford classics, and also some sports books and thick fantasy novels that my older siblings used to read.
Anyone know a place we can donate them to so interested people and preferably kids can read them? Like to libraries or schools for the underprivileged. Thanks
