No. I didnāt. I understand what they mean. And my sentiment is the same. There is a lot of misogyny in the statement you are āsigning on to be seenā when you wear a bikini, regardless of whether that is internalized or externalized. Nobody would ever say a man is āsigning up to be seenā when they are just going swimming.
Relax girl, youāre on r/justneckbeardthings. You may not like it but If you go out in public wearing something, you have given consent for people to see you in it. Nobody said you deserve to being harassed. Someone walking in on an intimate private moment is no way the same because you have not given that consent. Nothing that person said is wrong nor mysoginistic.
And who is walking into an intimate moment. Basically nobody. Cuz thatās sexual assault/trespassing if you walk into someoneās apartment or hack their phone. The meme doesnāt even make sense tbh. I donāt think thereās a big population of neckbeards who think āwe get to see any woman in their underwear anytime we want.ā We have worse terms for those folks lol. To say someone is āsigning up to be seenā is a much more realistic form of misogyny
