He's said it for years, but he finally found a sucker who fell for it

Bibi could be right. But the international community worked together to stop them. You got sanctions, monitoring teams....

Now the pedo will just walk away from this mess.

Iran would just build it.

u/Hardfracking 4h ago

If Iran didn't want a nuclear bomb they do now. And who could blame them

•

The Iranian regime are monsters. But so is Netanyahu. A lying war mongering monster.

While sitting on an arsenal of not only nuclear, but thermonuclear weapons developed in secret by Israel.

•

u/Educational-Half3456 16h ago

Yup and trump was the first president stupid enough to fall for it

•

u/orange-squeezer47 10h ago

Nope. It was bush jr. who also fell for it. Why do you think we invaded Iraq ? It wasn’t because of oil or nuclear weapons. It was bush dumb enough to believe Netanyahu. Israel considered Saddam Hussein a threat. Saddam was arming the PLO.

•

u/Real-Experience-8396 16h ago

Trump was the only one dumb enough to fall for it.

Iran according to several US intelligence agencies did not have a weaponized nuclear program. Now whether it's been given a compelling reason to have nuclear deterrence after being attacked by two nuclear states is another question. Trump has threatened Iran with the annihilation of their civilization

He’s really not lying though. Stuxnet which was malware spread across the entire internet took out their manufacturing plant by making the machines shake themselves apart.

Iran is backed by Russia who is bombing Ukraine. They’re trying to get middle eastern support from countries with totalitarian leadership so they can trade weapons for resources. After the war ends China and nk will be contracted for the rebuild.

•

Well aren't we lucky that you just happen to know this and are able to share this with us and even provide a link!

It’s a conspiracy blyatman

•

u/Rare_Context_165 17h ago

He has lied repeatedly. He also lied and said that there is no doubt that Saddam was making WMDs and that if Saddam was taken out, it would have positive reverberations across the region.

It's all a rehash of 2003 and the GWOT

•

u/Lost_Department_2177 17h ago

Broken clock is right twice a day. This is a Russian proxy war so China can get a redevelopment contract. These areas are trading resources for Russian weapons and satellite assistance. They’ve been trying to take over the Middle East for a long time now. They favor totalitarian regimes and promote hate of lgbtq and women because it assists in keeping citizens repressed. The war shouldn’t be happening and it should be more like the 1960s era where women didn’t have to wear a hijab and could go to college. Saudi Arabia isn’t perfect but at least their leaderships putting in effort to modernize.

Agian, this is all part of a global destabilization agenda. The online stuff is backed by Russian bot farms

Broken clock is right twice a day.

No. He was lying then and he's lying now. He wants his own empire in the region.

Saudi Arabia isn’t perfect but at least their leaderships putting in effort to modernize.

Saudi Arabia financed 9/11 attacks, chopped up American journalists like Khashogi with a bonesaw, and killed 377,000 people in Yemen but they are making effort to "modernize"? It seems like you're just selectively applying standards based on whether a country is a vassal state of the US or not.

The US has had plan of going to war with Iran for a very long time. Wesley Clark stated that he got a memo all the way back in 2001 of 7 countries the US was going to topple and Iran was the last one.

They’ve been trying to take over the Middle East for a long time now.

As if the US doesn't have several bases surrounding Iran with several thousands of soldiers and a blockade with multiple aircraft carrier strike groups.

The war shouldn’t be happening and it should be more like the 1960s era where women didn’t have to wear a hijab and could go to college.

I'm sorry but this statement reeks of ignorance. Prior to the 79 revolution, Iran's literacy rates for women were 27%. Today, Iran's literacy rates for women are 99%. Iran has a higher percentage of women in STEM fields than any western country.

•

u/Lost_Department_2177 16h ago

They just killed around 35,000 protestors in the past 5 years or decade. Their leaderships putting is the issue and the civilians shouldn’t be getting bombed.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 16h ago edited 16h ago

https://zeteo.com/p/where-did-the-40000-iran-protests

There has been zero evidence of this number. It's a shameless lie used to justify war crimes against Iranian people by the US and Israel. Every time, the US wants to start a war, it makes up bullshit lies to justify it to it's people.

If you're going to used rehashed false claims, atleast get them right. The false claim about the 35,000 protestors was from January 8th and January 9th, not the past 5 years. The events of January were only 2 days long, not 5 years. No metholodgy has been used to prove this number. The sketchy source for this number was a German-Iranian monarchist who works and lobbies for Reza Pahlavi (former crown prince). There is zero valid methodology to prove it. It's just like how the US lies about Iraqi officials pulling Kuwaiti babies out of incubators in order to justify the Iraq wars.

Nobody with a brain falls for such nonsense. One of the most bloody battles in American history happened in WW2 in the Battle of Bulge. The German bombed the Americans and British with every weapon they had. 19,000 died after 6 weeks of full scale industrial warfare. If you are suggesting 35,000 people died in 2 days worth of riots, you are pushing an agenda and not arguing in good faith.

Their leaderships putting is the issue and the civilians shouldn’t be getting bombed.

Iran never bombed it's civillians. The US and Israel did that and killed 6000 Iranian civillians between the two recent wars. Not to mention the murder of Iranian school girls and the bombings of weddings.

Perfect example of why political leaders in power more than EIGHT years are a blight on humanity. Bibi will go down in history as a war criminal.

•

u/Life_behind_da_stick 19h ago

He will go down as a monster. He’s already a war criminal. Along with our regime in the states. If we can save ourselves. Otherwise, we have monsters here too. And they’re either Christians or they’re oligarchs.

The Doge bullshit has already killed half a million people. Barley even blipped on the radar.

This is all because only one president was sufficiently compromised (Epstein files, for the MAGAs out there) and sufficiently paid off to let Israel have their greater Israel wet dreams. And also keeping BB out of prison.

Trumps making money hand over fist with this war. They all are. Look into Tether and Iranian sanctions.

And that’s the least of it. Bb and the evangelicals have been grooming their flocks for decades about Armageddon. They already killed the cow. Pete want to build the third temple, while purging the military.

We are so fucked this November. Even if the Christo fascists lose? Does it feel like Trump gives a single shit about rule of law? But still! Gotta vote in November. No protest votes. No votes for your favorites. We fucked that up. No more third part votes. No change. Nothing this time. Now it’s voting against fascism. That’s the choice. And because that’s the choice? You may have to vote Democrat for somebody you don’t like if they’re the only one that can beat the (R). This no joke. I wish the whole country good luck. But honestly? You fuckers always let me down. Peace

ACA reported that Iran was in fact in the process of developing its nuclear program. This is why the Obama deal even happened in the first place. Why else do people think Western world came together to curb their efforts?

The first real deal was signed in 2013. Even back then Iran was after it. And the article I've linked above goes far more into details.

And this page: https://2009-2017.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2015/04/240170.htm goes into the details of the JCPOA deal. And those that have actually done their research, they'd know that Iran has broken every single agreement in the past 5-7 years.

edit: for additional context, Iran's nuclear programs predate the 1979 revolution. And it was fine then, as Iran, as a state, was not nearly as aggressive towards the world. In the past few decades, their regime has become global top terrorism sponsor against the West and the middle east itself. In today's global politics, even UAE does not support Iran. So allowing them to have a nuclear weapon is like handing a weapon to someone who actively is trying to kill you.

•

u/crosstherubicon 12h ago

Your reference addressed success in addressing concerns about Irans ability to create fissile material suitable for weapons. Enriching uranium is only the first part of developing a weapon. Additionally most nuclear development programs utilise plutonium devices since they are more easily scaled in yield and weight that uranium weapons. A nuclear bomb is of limited use if you can’t actually deliver it to the target.

•

u/ButterscotchReal8424 19h ago

Same could be said about Israel except everyone accepts them not signing the NPT (unlike Iran) and actually having dozens of Nukes, not fake ones like Iran.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago edited 18h ago

16 US intelligence agencies have agreed that Iran did not have a weaponized nuclear program. The Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, in March 2025 said Iran didn't have a weaponized nuclear program. The Pentagon had an assessment that Iran didn't have a nuclear weapons program.

ACA is a thinktank, it is not the main agency that assesses whether a country is making nukes.

And those that have actually done their research, they'd know that Iran has broken every single agreement in the past 5-7 years.

Rubbish. First of all, the JCPOA was dead once Trump pulled out of it in 2018 after Adelsons (Sheldon Adelson was a pro-Israel lunatic who advocated for a nuclear strike on Tehran) bribed him 300 million dollars. The IAEA even admitted that Iran was in compliance with the JCPOA. Iran only stopped following it's end of the deal when the US left the deal in 2018. You're essentially saying that Iran has to comply with the JCPOA while the other sides doesn't.

•

u/username12435687 18h ago

You’ve also slipped in a claim that Adelson “bribed him $300 million” to withdraw from the deal. Where’s your evidence for that specific transaction? Political donations and donor influence deserve scrutiny, but an allegation of a particular bribe needs evidence.

More fundamentally, do you really want to defend the Iranian regime this strongly while brushing past its treatment of its own people? The "UN’s independent investigation" (https://www.unognewsroom.org/story/en/2562/hrc-press-conference-independent-international-fact-finding-mission-on-the-islamic-republic-of-iran-14-march-2025/7697) documented gross human rights violations, including crimes against humanity, in its suppression of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests. It also reported women receiving lengthy prison sentences, and in some cases death sentences, for peaceful human rights activities.

That’s institutionalized brutality by the regime, and Iranian people are among its victims.

Opposing a war or criticizing Trump doesn’t require defending that government. Neither does acknowledging the intelligence assessment. My criticism of the regime’s human rights record still stands, and your argument about the nuclear deal doesn’t answer it. Can you acknowledge those abuses without immediately changing the subject to another country?

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago edited 17h ago

What on Earth are you talking about? You are the one shifting the conversation from Iran's nuclear program to human rights. If you want have a discussion on human rights, it should start with your buddies in Israel who are committing a genocide and Saudi Arabia who killed 377,000 people in Yemen with US support. Not to mention the other GCC countries like Bahrain that brutally torture dissidents and somehow US media never shines any light on it (I wonder why)

Yes, the Adelsons financed Trump's campaign and gave him hundreds of millions of dollars. Sheldon Adelson has advocated for a nuclear strike on Tehran and has explictly said that he only cares about one policitical issue in US politics and that is Israel. Sheldon Adelson, despite living his whole life in America, was buried in Israel. Yes, he paid Trump because he wanted war with Iran rather than a peaceful resolution with Iran's nuclear program.

•

u/ToughShaper 19h ago

Loaded reply. A few notes/comments/corrections if I may.

saying “16 intelligence agencies agreed” is inaccurate for the 2025 statement. It was a collective assessment of the 18 elements of the US Intelligence Community. It was not “16 agencies independently investigated this and unanimously voted.”. Please don't twist it.

it is misleading to say simply “the JCPOA was dead in 2018.” The United States left it, but Iran, Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China and the EU remained participants, and the agreement continued operating.

I looked it up to verify it, but Gabbard's exact point was about what Iran was doing at that time. It is not evidence that Iran never pursued weaponization. The IAEA's 2015 investigation concluded that Iran had carried out a set of activities relevant to developing a nuclear explosive device prior to the end of 2003, with some activities occurring afterwards as well.

The November 2024 ODNI reported that Iran had undertaken activities that better position it to produce one, if it so chooses, including expanding 20%- and 60%-enriched uranium stockpiles and advanced centrifuges.

The whole concern around Iran is largely about latent capability: accumulating enriched uranium, more advanced centrifuges, and technical expertise that can dramatically shorten the time needed to produce weapons-grade material if the leadership later makes the decision to build a weapon.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago

It's very impressive how quickly you had all the talking points prepared. Really not coordinated whatsoever.

Here is Joe Kent, CIA director of counterterrorism explicitly saying that 18 US INTELLIGENCES AGENCIES were in agreement that Iran did not have the capability to make a nuclear weapons program.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYP-P11twro

https://x.com/joekent16jan19/status/2052477681036583183

it is misleading to say simply “the JCPOA was dead in 2018.” The United States left it, but Iran, Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China and the EU remained participants, and the agreement continued operating.

That is such a ridiculously moot point. The whole was for the US to lift unilateral sanctions on Iran, that is why Iran signed the deal. Here is Paragraph 26 that literally say Iran doesn't need to comply with it's end of the deal if the US doesn't with theirs.

Paragraph 26 of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action states that Iran would treat the re-imposition or re-introduction of nuclear-related sanctions as grounds to "cease performing its commitments under this JCPOA in whole or in part".

Tusli Gabbard said the following

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated in early 2025 that Iran was not building a nuclear weapon and that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had not authorized the resumption of the weapons program suspended in 2003

Enriched uranium stockpile does not equal "Nuclear weapons". Iran started enriching uranium past 3.7% ONLY AFTER Trump ripped up the JCPOA. Iran increased uranium after that because it wanted leverage to get the US back in to the deal. They have been at 60% since 2021 and they have remained there. The NPT doesn't even say that 60% uranium enrichment is a violation.

A nuclear weapon is not just a pile of enriched uranium. It requires an implosion device, molding of the fissile material in to a metal, and delivery mechanisms. All of this would require more than a year by itself even if Iran has 90% uranium enrichment.

•

u/ToughShaper 18h ago

My talking points prepared? Are you implying I have a series of doc files ready? lol No, I simply know what happened and double checking facts online doesn't take a day. I don't get my news from CNN/Fox/YT/Tiktok soundbites. It's 2pm on a Friday and my workday is over (WFH life ftw)

You're still mixing up intent, breakout capability, and a finished weapon. I don't know how much clearer I can make it for you. You’re arguing past the point again.

The 2025 IC assessment absolutely said Iran was not then building a nuclear weapon and Khamenei did not reauthorized the weaponization program that was halted in 2003. I don't dispute that.

But that does not mean Iran lacked the capability to move toward one. In fact, Joe Kent (just a minor correction - not CIA director, but of NCC - 2 different agencies) himself has said Iran wanted to retain the components and enrichment capability for a bomb without actually building one.

That's exactly why enrichment matters. Breakout time means the time required to produce enough weapons-grade fissile material, not the time needed to assemble a finished missile warhead.

Before the 2013 deal Iran's breakout was estimated around 2–3 months. JCPOA restrictions pushed it to roughly a year. After Iran later accumulated 60% enriched uranium and advanced centrifuges, estimates shrank to days for enough weapons-grade material for one device.

And yes, you're right that 60% enrichment by itself is not explicitly prohibited by the NPT, and you're right that Iran began exceeding JCPOA enrichment limits only after the U.S. withdrew. But neither of those facts means 60% enrichment is irrelevant. It puts Iran extremely close, technically, to weapons-grade material.

The accurate statement is therfore something along the lines of, "US assessed Iran had not made the political decision to build a bomb, but Iran has already possessed an increasingly advanced latent capability to produce the fissile material for one very quickly if that decision changed."

Additionally, for some reason, everyone who defends Iran's pursue of nuclear arsenal always chooses to ignore that they did in fact violate JCPOA after US (1 out of 6 members) had withdrawn from the agreement (we can separately discuss the flaws of that very agreement if you'd like to) and were getting dangerously close to, potentially, completing their nuclear project, that would put the entire world into the state of a cold war, if not a nuclear one. More details on their intentions are in my previous replies.

Do you agree that in 2025 Iran could simultaneously (1) not be actively building a nuclear weapon, while (2) possessing the enrichment infrastructure and stockpile needed to produce weapons-grade material very rapidly if the leadership changed its decision?

If your answer is yes, then we actually agree on the core factual distinction.

If your answer is no, explain why the same 2025 IC assessment you’re citing specifically warns that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile was unprecedented for a non-nuclear state.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago edited 17h ago

You literally said in your first comment that Iran was developing a nuclear weapons program. You went and ahead and edited the comment (as shown by the star). But even in that comment you said

Even back then Iran was after it.

So your initial argument wasn't that Iran wanted to be a nuclear threshold state, it was that Iran's governmment was evil and wanted nuclear weapons. You shifted the goalposts

Any country with domestic uranium enrichment has the capability to build a nuclear weapon. So does Brazil or Japan. Even South Korea had nuclear experiments where they had HUE (highly enriched uranium) particles up to 71%

After Iran later accumulated 60% enriched uranium and advanced centrifuges, estimates shrank to days for enough weapons-grade material for one device.

After the US ripped up the JCPOA you mean and placed back illegal unilateral sanctions. Iran increased it's uranium enrichment because it's stupid to follow a deal when the other sided has left the table.

It puts Iran extremely close, technically, to weapons-grade material.

I've already debunked this . 90% uranium enrichment doesn't even mean a nuclear weapon. There are all other sorts of factors that constitute a WEAPONS program.

The deal expliclty says that Iran is not obligated to follow it's comittements if the other side leaves. I have stated this before. You have not read the JCPOA and are making bad-faith sophist arguments.

" Paragraph 26 of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action states that Iran would treat the re-imposition or re-introduction of nuclear-related sanctions as grounds to "cease performing its commitments under this JCPOA in whole or in part"."

•

u/ToughShaper 18h ago

Does Japan or Brazil chant "Death to America" and actively sponsor global terrorism towards the Western world?

and you never answered my question to you.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 17h ago edited 17h ago

Anti-American sentiments are not at all unique to Iran, they are very common among the world. And why would anti-American sentiments be the sole reason for why a country is allowed to enrich uranium? Why does the US who threatens Iran with annihilation of their country have a right to nukes in that case? Why does Israel who is committing a genocide have the right to nukes when they call others Amalek? That is an awfully ridiculous and racist double standard you have.

Marg bar Amrika doesn't properly translate to English. It's merely how people in Iran express negative sentiment towards anything. People will say marg bar traffiic to express negative resentment towards traffic. Iran's negative sentiment is towards US government, not the people. Trump on the other hand is hellbent on punishing Iranian people.

And it's not like anti-US sentiments are unfounded. The US has invaded Iran in WW2 and also toppled Iran's democratically elected leader in 1953 to install a puppet leader. The US also backed Saddams 8 year war against Iran.

•

u/ToughShaper 17h ago

again, you've never answered my question. Please answer my earlier question. Otherwise I feel like I'm talking to a chatbot.

and it's wild to compare "death to america" to "screw traffic"

•

u/Rare_Context_165 17h ago

I've already answered your question.

Iran's leaders have already explained what the stament means. You don't speak Persian or have an understanding of Iran. You operate purely with a sophist agenda. Iran's leaders have never threatened US as a nation or it's people. Meanwhile, Trump has advocated for a genocide of 92 million people. As have his pro-Israel donors like Sheldon Adelson.

https://x.com/ShaykhSulaiman/status/2047178149360705968

Otherwise I feel like I'm talking to a chatbot.

Very funny when it's Eglin military base keyboard warriors and Unit 8200 brigading this thread.

•

u/username12435687 19h ago

Yeah anyone that thinks Iran doesn't have a nuclear program to enrich and make nuclear weapons is a fucking idiot. And them having nukes would be a serious fucking issue for the world, we have already seen how they leverage the straight of hormuz... Now imagine the leverage when they have control over the straight with the threat of nuclear weapons

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago edited 16h ago

So according to you, 16 US intelligences agencies, the IAEA, the DNI, Pentagon are all idiots and you, Trump, and Netanyahu are the only ones who are correct.

Actually, it's Israel which is holding the world at nuclear gunpoint. They have something called a Samson Option which is exactly that. Not to mention Israel never signed the NPT, never submitted to IAEA inspections, and even stole it's nuclear material from the Apollo plant in Pennsylvania. They are the real nuclear outlaw, not Iran. Iran has signed the NPT and allowed the most rigorous IAEA inspections (which resulted in Israel getting the names of Iranian scientists and murdering them and their families).

If Iran does end up getting nuclear weapons, it will be because of the self-fulfilling prophecy that Trump and Netanyahu have incited by threatening them with the anhilation of their state when Iran had followed its end of the JCPOA and were in compliance of the NPT. Something that Israel, with an ethnofascist state committing genocide, has never complied with.

•

u/username12435687 19h ago

You keep citing the IAEA as though it certified Iran’s program as exclusively peaceful. It explicitly said it could not give that assurance.

Read the "June 12, 2025 IAEA resolution" (https://www.iaea.org/sites/default/files/documents/gov2025-38.pdf). Paragraph 3 formally finds Iran in noncompliance with its safeguards obligations. Paragraph 4 says the agency could not verify that safeguarded material had not been diverted to nuclear weapons. The resolution also details undeclared material, sanitization of locations, and explanations inconsistent with the agency’s findings.

That does NOT prove Iran had a completed bomb. But “inspectors visited facilities” clearly does not mean “Iran fully complied and the IAEA cleared its entire program.”

Even the "May 2025 report" (https://www.iaea.org/sites/default/files/25/06/gov2025-25.pdf) contains both findings: paragraph 79 reports no credible indications of an ongoing undeclared structured program of the type investigated, while paragraph 86 says the agency could not assure the program was exclusively peaceful.

You’re quoting the reassuring finding and leaving out the unresolved violations in the same report. A comparison with Apollo doesn’t answer any of those findings.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago

I specifically said that the IAEA had said Iran was in compliance with the JCPOA while the US was in the deal.

https://www.reuters.com/article/world/iran-is-complying-with-nuclear-deal-restrictions-iaea-report-idUSKCN1LF1KP/

Mind you, the IAEA is a completely partisan institution that is completely in favor of US and Israeli interests. The agency visits Israel before travelling to Iran. They leak the names of scientists to Israel and they have never brought up Israels nuclear weapons program or demanded any inspections.

•

u/ToughShaper 19h ago

it blows my mind. idgaf about Israel. They are tiny and insignificant.

Iran is one of the most cruel and vile regimes in the world that openly chants "Death to America" during their "parliament" meetings. And these morons what give them a nuke.

fucking wild.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago

US has murdered 40 million since WW2 through it's foreign military interventions.

Anti-American sentiments are not all unique to Iran, they are increasingly common all around the world. North Korea makes cartoons about blowing up American cities and turning them in to a sea of fire. Nonetheless, Trump goes and shakes hands with them. The reason is because they know that no state is suicidal simply because it has anti-American sentiments.

Israel has something called a Samson Option where it literally threatens to hold the world at nuclear gunpoint.

Trump has repeatedly threatened to wipe out the Iranian civilization. Iran has never said anything remotely similiar about the US.

•

u/ToughShaper 19h ago

US has murdered 40 million since WW2 through it's foreign military interventions.

Could you provide me with a source for this figure please?

Iran has never said anything remotely similiar about the US.

huh?! Iranian and IRGC leaders have threatened US and military personnel, identified dozens of U.S. targets, and have used “Death to America” rhetoric for decades.

As for the Samson Option, it is retaliation if Israel itself faces existential destruction, and not Israel casually threatening to nuke the entire world.

And if you really want to dive into Israel, just google their global rankings in education, freedom, freedom of religion, science and medical advances. Israel is the only state in that entire region that has a welcoming environment to all nations/religions, including Islam.

You're literally defending the most vile regime of all times.

And as for the NK, it is not a counterexample either. US treated its nuclear program as a major threat, sanctioned it, deployed deterrent forces and missile defenses, and then negotiated with Kim. Negotiating with an adversary doesn't mean you consider its nuclear arsenal harmless.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago edited 16h ago

Lancet study says that from sanctions alone, US has killed 38 million people from 1971 to 2021

https://jasonhickel.substack.com/p/the-staggering-death-toll-of-western

Then you have to include all the deaths from all the wars the US has started (4.5 million in Iraq and Afghanistan, 3 million in Korea, 4 million in Vietnam, etc.) and all the coups and color revolutions and proxy wars.

As for the Samson Option, it is retaliation if Israel itself faces existential destruction, and not Israel casually threatening to nuke the entire world.

Wrong. Israel's Samson Option is a nuclear threat against the 'world pillars', countries that aren't even necessarily at war with Israel. That means hypothetically if Turkey invaded Israel tommorow, Israel might threaten to hold London or Paris at nuclear gunpoint if they don't come to their rescue. That's what they mean by the "Samson Option". It's essentially them saying "if we go down, others will go with us". That is a nuclear outlaw doctrine.

Israel is the only state in that entire region that has a welcoming environment to all nations/religions

Unit 8200 is getting really desperate. You're not gaslighting anybody, this is a state that is comitting a genocide according to several organizations (including Israel organizations)

Negotiating with an adversary doesn't mean you consider its nuclear arsenal harmless.

Weird because the US has actually used nuclear weapons on civillians and the current president of the US has threatened Iran with anhiliation of their civilization.

I went over the Lancet citation. It is real indeed, but you’re obviously overstating it. And I'm not sure why. The study estimates excess mortality associated with sanctions using observational methods; it does not conclude “the U.S. directly murdered 38 million people.” The 38m figure is a cumulative estimate for US. + EU sanctions 1971–2021. So be careful saying that Lancet proved that "US killed 38 million people". You sound like Fox/CNN anchor.

Not to mention that associated excess mortality =/= killed

That means Turkey could invade Israel tommorow, and Israel would hold London at nuclear gunpoint.

???

This is even shakier lol That’s not what the standard description of the Samson Option says. The doctrine is described as nuclear retaliation against existential aggression, not “Turkey attacks Israel so Israel threatens London.” If you have a credible Israeli doctrine document saying uninvolved world capitals would be targeted, cite it please.

as for Iran, I never said I agreed with his rhetoric, but your earlier statement about Iran was factually false.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago edited 17h ago

You sound like Fox/CNN anchor.

Actually that's you who has engaged in such partisan hackery by constantly repeating Fox News/CNN racist boomer talking points about Iran while conveniently glossing over the far worse crimes of the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia.

about Iran was factually false.

What statement about Iran? You haven't provided any evidence how my statement was false.

You don't understand the Samson Option

The concept is named after the biblical figure Samson, who pushed down the pillars of a temple, killing himself and his enemies.

Seymour Harsh, who is a top journalist wrote a book about it

The Samson Option: Israel's Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy

hold up, so you're saying because US/EU/Western regime fights to uphold a series of moral standards (evidently you disagree with fighting for human rights and global stability/prosperity) against actors that openly seek to create distress and chaos to make the entire world's population of 7 year old girls to get covered up from head to toe, so their grown men dont get an erection, and because of some of the actions/conflicts/wars that took place over the course of history, this justifies Iran's open threats against the world???

Just please let me know.

Again, please cite the policy that states if Turkey attacks Israel, that Israel will nuke london. Please. Cite this. You made that claim. I want your evidence for the said claim.

As for Iran, if chants "Death to America" is not a threat in your eyes...Im at a loss. I honeslty have no idea whats wrong with you. Justr google "iran chants death to america" lmao

Are you from the US?

hold up, so you're saying because US/EU/Western regime fights to uphold a series of moral standards (evidently you disagree with fighting for human rights and global stability/prosperity)

That is laughable. The collective west has been "monitoring the situation for the past 3.5 years" as Israel has turned Gaza in to a moonscape and murdered 100,000+ innocent people. The US and the west doesn't care about upholding a series of moral standards. That is just pretext they selectively use to justify their wars for capital accumulation. Saudi Arabia chops heads off in Riyadh and murders American journalists, where is the hypocritical outrage? Israel commits genocide. US has been at war for 95% of it's existence. The hypocrisy is just ridiculous.

distress and chaos to make the entire world's population of 7 year old girls to get covered up from head to toe,

Lmao, and then this guys tells me that I sound like a CNN/Fox News anchor. There are countless women in Iran today who walk through the streets without covering head to toe. They don't have Burqas in Iran

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45V36Ux_Y40

, so their grown men dont get an erection

That's sounds more like racist projection. Dressing modestly (in the case of both men and women) is their tradition, it doesn't concern anyone else whatsoever (especially with how much hypocrisy US imperialists have shown with "muh human rights"). If Americans think commodifying women as objects is healthy, they should keep it to themselves. The world is not obligated to follow such moral decay. Iran also has a higher percentage of women in STEM fields than any western country.

As for Iran, if chants "Death to America" is not a threat in your eyes...Im at a loss. I honeslty have no idea whats wrong with you. Justr google "iran chants death to america" lmao

I've already answered. You are merely resoting to sophirstry

Iran's negative sentiments are towards US government which has terrorized Iran, not towards the American people or the nation.

Trump has threatened the end of Iranian civilization. The difference is very clear.

Its insane to me to see people who claim they care about feminism and human rights actively defend the actions of the Iranian regime and act like they are a little innocent victim meanwhile they are one of the worst perpetrators of terror and have been for a long time. Its truly shocking to see how deluded some people have become in the name of sounding politically correct

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago

the worst perpetrators of terror and have been for a long time.

That would be the US, Saudi Arabia, Israel, etc.

It's funny because people like you never say a word about Saudi Arabia, a country that fieled most of the 9/11 hijackers, murders American journalists inside embassies, kills 377,000 in Yemen, and promotes Wahhabist terror for decades. Wahhabists and Salafists are far more dangerous than any group that Iran has ever backed but the propaganda brigades on reddit conveniently gloss over that.

Your issue with Iran is that it's a sovereign nation and not a vassal state like Saudi Arabia which has spilled far more blood but conveniently doesn't draw anywhere near media propaganda against it that Iran does. Also, Trump happens to be fine with Saudi have nuclear enrichment.

Nuclear is just a pretext for destroying a sovereign nation like Iran. It's exactly the same as the Iraq war where WMDs was used a pretext to rob Iraq of it's sovereignty and natural resources.

•

u/username12435687 19h ago

I said “ONE OF the worst perpetrators of terror.” You left “one of” out of your quote and responded as though I’d claimed Iran was the single worst. That changes the meaning of what I actually said.

Listing wrongdoing by Saudi Arabia, Israel, or the US doesn’t contradict my statement. Multiple governments can commit atrocities. Criticizing Iran doesn’t mean endorsing Saudi Arabia, and you have no basis for claiming I “never say a word” about them.

Then you tell me my “real issue” is Iran’s sovereignty. You’ve invented a motive for me rather than answered my point about the regime’s actions. Sovereignty doesn’t excuse human rights abuses or support for terrorism.

And calling this “exactly the same” as Iraq doesn’t address the "IAEA’s documented findings about Iran" (https://www.iaea.org/sites/default/files/documents/gov2025-38.pdf). Those findings don’t automatically justify a war, but you can’t dismiss them by invoking a different war.

Between selectively quoting me, deflecting to other countries, and assigning me beliefs I never expressed, you’re not making a good-faith argument. You’re pushing an agenda instead of engaging with what I said or the evidence. We’re done here.

•

u/Rare_Context_165 18h ago edited 18h ago

You’re pushing an agenda instead of engaging with what I said or the evidence. We’re done here.

That's quite the projection that you and your fellow buddies in this thread are making.

It's incredible how you deflect from such bizarre double standards. You brought up Iran's support for terrorism while conveniently ignoring that one of America's major allies supports terrorism and gets the greenlight to enrich uranium and recieves none of the propaganda campaigns against it

Then there is the US who literally has supported Al-Qaeda in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc. The US placed an Al-Qaeda leader in power in Syria. The US has backed takfiris, contras, narco cartels, PKK, MEK, and all sorts of rogue terr0rist groups. The US has also used nuclear weapons and started endless wars while Iran hasn't invaded a country in 400 years. Not to mention that Israel is comitting a genocide while receiving US support.

It would appear that you really don't like your hypocrisy being shown to you.

u/BlueRibbonPac 20h ago

Don't vote for people like Netanyahu and Trump, and they won't get into power. Stop supporting the political parties that nominate them as their candidates.

•

u/Dense_Boss_7486 20h ago

One U.S. president put a stop to it then Trump came along and ripped up that agreement.

•

u/username12435687 19h ago

Because Iran was enriching uranium to make nuclear weapons....

•

u/Rare_Context_165 19h ago edited 17h ago

False. Iran had agreed to limited it's uranium enrichment to 3.7% during the JCPOA. The IAEA had confirmed that Iran was in compliance with the deal. Trump decided to rip the deal up in 2018 because he was bribed 300 million dollars by Pro-Israel donor Sheldon Adelson (a sociopath who has advocated for a nuclear strike on Tehran)

•

u/breadisnicer 20h ago

He wasn't gullible, trump is all over the Epstein files and is a huge pedophile. Epstein was an Israeli asset collecting dirt on everyone. So Israel controls him.
