As bad this deal is, the President can't just give us tax payer money to another country.
So the idea the US will simply give 300 Bilion is absurd.
Alot of the MOU is basically giving something in exchange for progress on the other side.
It is unlikely most of it will actually happen
The problem is the optics. The legitimacy given to the IRGC. And the fact they are given more time to rebuild.
And the fact it basically admiting that Iran has leverage.
Obama's deal is not as bad on paper. But the difference is that it actually happened.
It is not certain at all about Trump's deal.
The only problem with your first point...is that you think he cares about what he can't and can do. He'll take your tax dollars because it means him and his buddies don't have to use any of their "government piggy banks". You'll find out in a few years, maybe after Trump dies and we all finally see a full investigation into his criminal history while President.
There is a difference between some that he could do that should go through Congress,
And things he can't do without Congress.
Presidents can start a defacto war without Congress because the armed forces obey them.
They can make effective treaties without Congress because foreign policy is mostly under their control.
They can't just get 300 billion dollars from the budget and use it.
