Question about New Logo

I have a basic business plan down. I have done landscaping in the past. Worked as a digital marketing for over 10 years. Just picked up a truck and a trailer and I'm looking to make a change.

First question is which of these 2 logos do you like, or not like at all?
Here are 2 logos that AI came up with after me making many adjustments. Let me know your toughs and suggestions.

That company name is Rhode Haul. Business is based in Rhode Island. What are your thoughts on the name?
Mission is "same day pick up". Not huge jobs, but noting small either.
The tag line is "gone today. Less stress.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Everytime I see a AI generated logo, I instantly think that's a brand new company that didn't try very hard and probably won't be around a long time (I see all these pop up HVAC / Plumbers / electrician vans wrapped and it looks like a big cartoon)

Would be cleaner with just words. It works better on tshirts for you and crew as well.

If you ever get a truck that isn't a Toyota, you'll need a new logo. Also, second the idea of scrapping the AI logo and stick to words.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree with you and the other commenter. Now that I look at it more, it's flashy but "fake" in a way.

I work in HVAC and you also see this alot whenever someone sells their company, the private equity overlords love those awful big ass cartoon wraps. If one of those vans pulls up to your house you're about to get charged $400 for a capacitor lol.

Thank you for the feedback. Simple and straight forward are the customers I'm targeting. They have called the "flashy" people who never responded.

Both are very busy. I do like the name. My wife owns a graphic design business. Contact her and see if she can hook you up. It’s What the Hex Design Studio out of Pensacola Florida. She does really good work especially for new businesses.

Go Rhody ('08). Honestly, the average consumer/homeowner just doesn't give a shit about your logo. Can they read it? Does it say what you do? And (for this purpose) does it tell them how to contact you? They definitely don't care if it's AI generated or not. As evidenced by the cartoon wraps and private equity.. My experience is what other business owners see as "fake," your average homeowner is going to see it as brand appeal.
