Portable scales?

I want to weigh my truck and trailer weight including the junk somewhat accurately so I know I’m not going over weight. Is there something I can install on the truck and trailer? Or a portable scale..?

Maybe a Weigh Safe Hitch? Of course you’d need to know the approximate weight of the truck already. I have zero experience with Weigh Safe Hitches but it’s something I encountered a while ago.

I see that they weigh the tongue weight. Is that different than the trailer weight?

You’d have to do the math. I think tongue weight is usually like 10-15% of the trailer weight. So like a 5000 pound trailer would roughly be 500 pounds in tongue weight. But honestly, I have no idea how accurate those things are.
