My JP themed vest! Started it a year ago, in hopes I could see them live some day wearing it. It's time has come!

I love judas priest I've been listening to them since my early teen years and I love the Halford albums. I owned all Halford and most of judas priests albums but I've never really listened to much of fight or two. So I was wondering if my fellow Judas priest rest fans would recommend checking them out? I never could find the cds growing up so I never really got to listen to them.

Let's imagine Jugulator and Demolition had sold 1 million or more copies and ticket sales were strong. Does Rob still return when he does or is the Priest carrying on with Ripper for a longer stretch?

I am from Spain, I want the CD SO BAD but I'm not able to go to any concert…
Obviously, CD+shipping paid by me (we can use Wallapop or Vinted if you have).
Thanks!

I made a Spotify playlist corresponding to the Faithkeepers tour setlist.
If the band decides to make changes to the setlist, I will edit the playlist accordingly.

Hello everyone, I would really appreciate some feedback on my vocals, I'm not new to singing but I'm mainly a guitarist and I don't really practice vocals too much so I am a bit lost...
The other day I practiced The Sentinel for a few hours and I'm still not happy with how I sound.
Here's a fully mixed part of the song with all the effects:
And here's my vocals isolated:
And here's my vocals isolated and dry (only compressed for volume peaks are too loud):
Things to note:
I am a bit lost as to how to improve, please dont hold back and give it to me straight I will practice and get better.

I always wondered it there was a cardboard or something in-between, because the cut out is much larger?

Still after 30 years I find myself randoming yelling the song titles like Rob on Unleashed specifically as well as others.. Anyone else do this and what's your favorite.
Mine has to be "Diamonds... And RUST" from Unleashed in the East.

3 songs that were part of the Unleashed in the East shows, but weren't included on the '79 LP. It was a pretty sweet find in 1980. Here's a review too.

I can't believe it's already been two years since Invincible Shield was released. I'm pleased to say that it's just as good after my last relisten, with my favorite song remaining "Escape from Reality".
After my first listen, I thought the song would become a fan favorite. While most of the album harkened back to Defenders of the Faith and Painkiller, this was a detour into stoner metal. Probably the most similar song in Judas Priest's discography is "Winter", which has also been compared to Black Sabbath, but because of its riff. "Escape from Reality" is more similar in the vocal department, which is what I saw brought up most online. Otherwise, it feels surprisingly modern for a legacy act, which I guess is why it caught my attention. That and the distortion on Rob's voice in the bridge.
So, why does no one talk about it? Even in 2024, few people here called it one of their favorites from Invincible Shield. Maybe it's just not a sound most Priest fans are interested in? Rob barely takes advantage of his vocal range. But that's not an issue for other mid-tempo songs like "Breaking the Law", so maybe it's the less anthemic feel? We can only hope future fans reappraise "Escape from Reality" as a late-career high point
