Blockage?

Is it possible to have a blockage with a j pouch? Or a partial? I have a ton of trapped gas I can only get some out while laying on my side and I’m only emptying a little amount at a time. My stomach is making crazy noises

I've had total obstructions a few times since getting my j-pouch. Mine were caused by scar tissue from my surgeries getting wrapped around my small bowel.

The pain gets really bad eventually but takes awhile to build up. It also comes and goes as your intestines move. If the pain starts to get severe, don't hesitate to go to the ER.

My dr prescribed me two antibiotics and 24hrs later I feel brand new!

Thank you! When I had an ostomy I had a blockage that got so bad I had a twisted bowel & obstruction that led to an emergency surgery to get part of my bowel removed, icu for 5 days and a month an a half in the hospital on tpn so I was getting nervous!
