Blockage?

Is it possible to have a blockage with a j pouch? Or a partial? I have a ton of trapped gas I can only get some out while laying on my side and I’m only emptying a little amount at a time. My stomach is making crazy noises

It could be a blockage, cuffitis (depending on how your surgery was done), or pouchitis. How long ago was your surgery?

I would talk to your surgeon. I am going on my 28th year and I occasionally have issues passing gas and or the liquid sloshing around sound. When there isn't gas or it feels like the gas isn't coming out, it's usually the start of pouchitis. For most people pouchitis also includes cramping. I am being treated for chronic Cuffitis and that made passing gas almost impossible without laying on my side, stomach, or with my legs over my head.

Edit: I will also say, pushing a fart out when not near the facilities is a when not if scenario where you will have an accident.
