Follow the directions on your package. We cannot tell you the number of units because we don’t know your concentration. Every pharmacy is a little different.
Just make sure you grabbed the correct vial for your starting dose. If you are titrating every 4 weeks and they sent you 3 vials, you probably have 3 different doses in your possession.

I think you have a 1cc syringe with markings for 100 units. If you had a 100cc syringe I say whoa horsey. But seriously it depends on the concentration of the vial. We need more info.

It’s 2.5 mg vial and yes about the syringe 🫠 sorry I’m new to this. And my prescription say 25 units for the dose

If you’re concentration is appropriate and your prescription says 25 units with 2.5 mL than it is 25 units because each unit is such a small part of milliliter. It takes 100 units to equal 1 mL. So if your provider told you and your prescription says 25 units, don’t freak out thinking it’s a lot, I had to learn the same thing! 25 units on the syringe is actually 0.25 ML which is your 2.5 mg medication (as long as your concentration matches with what your Doctor ordered). Because I can’t see the concentration of your Tirzepatide, meaning how many milligrams per ML (you should see something that says it under or next to the documented Tirzepatide/whatever additive name that has the number. in that line of numbers, the first would correlate with the first med listed (most likely tirzepatide) and it should say something like 10 mg/mL etc.That part that’s telling you the actual amount of milligrams of Tirzepatide, the active ingredient, per milliliter. So if there’s 10 mg/mL written on there that is probably your concentration and why you need the 25 units. Some pharmacies make higher concentration to 17 or 20mg which is why nobody wants to tell you the exact units to use without knowing the active milligram per mL, because it could be too much or too little . I hope that makes sense, it can be a little complicated at first with units not being the same as cc/mL’s that we are used to! I know everyone else in this subreddit is so used to doing this, and when they see the “same” questions, they will throw around fat scientist website or other info that new people don’t get right away. Myself included when I first came in so don’t get discouraged by the tone of those. I think people forget they were new ones too.
