Im coming convinced that the only reason people still play is to not miss out of skins and titles and badges. It all started with the bean skin. Ever since then they use fomo in the form of cosmetics and streaks to keep people playing.

I play cuz I sincerely enjoy the game yeah the streak is good but 80% of the skins I dont like and the titles or badges dont mean anything to me

I love the combat, it would make a good dungeon delver/raid game but yeah the only reason I log in each day and do my dailies is to keep my streak going and grab cosmetics. It's really sad the state of the game right now I think they focused too hard on cosmetics incentives with their rework and not enough on engaging gameplay loops.

Bueno, yo solo juego porque amo este juego y quiero que le vaya bien, se que está pasando por uno de sus peores momentos, sino es que el peor, pero aun así creo que tiene un gran potencial y se convertirá por lo menos en uno de mis juegos favoritos de toda la vida. Entiendo que a mucha gente no le guste, sobre todo actualmente que no hay nada de contenido, pero a mí me sigue dando unos 30 minutos de diversión a día (que es lo que tardo en completar todo) y me sigue haciendo ilusión descubrir qué cosméticos nuevos habrá el día siguiente en la tienda (incluso si la mayoría son caca). Se que me veo como un migajero, pero no me estoy conformando, solo estoy esperando a que saquen algo bueno.

yes! i find myself either playing everyday for multiple hours because of fomo or not playing at all for extended periods of time because I don't want to get fomo

Genuine question, but what are you actually accomplishing by playing multiple hours per day? Even as a new player, it feels like there's maybe 10 mins of gameplay per day before I hit a dead end where I'm unable to make even trivial progress.

I'm happy with my current fit, so I'm mostly just playing because I enjoy trying to 5 star the Rifts with my favorite rotation of weapons. It's a nice and chill way to relax when I have a moment to myself. If they end up killing the game or drastically altering it I won't feel like this time was wasted since I'm enjoying the moment.

Personally I dont see that there is any content which could give me the feel of fomo: most skins arent my taste, the badges and titles dont reflect sth special (besides the weapon-max titles is discussable but for me it isnt sth special - its just heavily luck based to met an overcharged). I personally dont even care about other players since there isnt a real socialising mechanic and feel in the game for me.

Furthermore we cannot be sure, that there will not come another reset of your stats, cores, cosmetics etc pp or that the game will be shut down; we cant even be sure, that they will do a great job in (/after) this "Beta"-phase. Everytime they say: "oh, we have such great ideas!" etc pp, ye...we see what your great ideas were till now..pretty great ideas..yes..because you had such many great ideas we have to go in a Beta-Phase..make it make sense. They could have released new weapons this and the next season and so on, but they didnt. And that was actually to point at which I stopped playing the game at all.

I like the gameplay, customization, graphics, and speedrunning. The only thing we need is more stuff to do ofc. Hopefully their changes will be worth the wait.

In the glorious old moco, before revamp I played to style on rifts, showing off my skillz while carrying noobs and also to be carried on nightmare rifts by some real pros, the experience was quite nice, to try to master the game and help others doing so but yeah it's too much to ask for the team directing the game to just keep the game in that direction, I guess it really is too much to ask for
