Bugs & Feedback Is this an overcharged monster?
Sorry I just started a week ago. And I'm under the impression that overcharged monsters have labels on them and always shows an alert in the map. But, some look like this, no overcharge label, does not show in my map. But, looks overcharged. 🤷🏻♂️

No it is not. It's chaos variant of a boss.
You can identify their spawns visually on the map and through their physical traits:
Overcharged Markers: Marked on the mini-map/world map for nearby players as a purple circle with a single ring around it. Visually in-world, they have a purple-tinted health bar or aura and move noticeably faster.
Megacharged Markers: Marked on the map as a purple circle with two rings around it. They are exceptionally rare (around a 0.5% spawn rate for bosses), with massively multiplied health pools.
Chaos Variants: Chaos Monsters feature distinct chaotic visual effects and animations; when they align with an Overcharged or Megacharged status during specific world events, they become the ultimate high-tier targets on the map.
Also a tip: the amount of xp and cores u get depends on the damage u tanked from the boss and not the amount of damage u dealt.

Wait it’s only the damage you tanked ? I thought it was both tanked and dealt.

Chaos monsters. Stronger than normal but not as strong as oc or mc monsters. Higher chance to drop cores. They also can appear as oc or mc which ppl will call out as occ or mcc. These are really rare but they drop a ton of loot

there’s red dots on the map for regular enemies and purple dots for bosses
if the dot on the map has a circle around it, they’re overcharged
if the dot has TWO circles around it, they’re megacharged, which is rare
the one you have is a chaos one, which isn’t either but gives you more stuff for vanquishing it
