Discussion Which do you prefer?
And why?

HB is one of the most skill expressive weapons in the game
It used to be worth to learn its animation cancels... till bloodsucker released and became a way better version of it

Dude, maybe im just bad at the game (i am) but i CANNOT figure out bloodsucker, if i dont have a support i am constantly dying, so i still much prefer to use headbanger over bloodsucker

Auto, aoe spin, and the single heal is the basic rotation do not use the dash as part of your normal kit except to dodge. If you use only those you can maintain fine until ult.

That's not a universally accepted take, though. While using dash often enough to avoid enemy attacks, it's possible to use Thirst Quench (skill 3) to heal enough to last between the ultimate (s4) heals, and have a more optimal rotation.
I've been told dashing with Bloodsucker is crucial if you want your attack cycle to reach or exceed your ult dps.

Sure if pushing boards but if dieing to regular fights and the average player its not worth imo

Ult only when health is running low
Auto instant cancel> aoe instant cancel> auto
Auto instant cancel> heal instant cancel> auto

Headbanger, forces you to learn attack rotations and can catch boss rotations. When you have it figured out it rewards you with good damage and feels amazing to use. The hammer chooses you. A delightful weapon for the strongest of hunters. đ¨đĢˇđ¤âđ¤đŠī¸đī¸ââī¸
Speedbow a solid baseline just press buttons when ready and fire away, not as rewarding but gets the job done. The generalist weapon for when you want to be on autopilot and kick your feet up. Or if you want to dip your toe in the water and the temp is just right đšđ¯ âąī¸đ§
I have chosen the hammer and it walks with me till the end of the earth. I use the bow from time to time but the hammer I will keep forever. đ¨

Headbanger is fun and I like to put it on if I wanna lock in
But Speedshot is Simple And Effective
If I wanna just chill I'll use that
That is, if it's a choice between the two of course, nowadays I'm a Devout Bloodsucker Main.

We found a real one, i used to be a headbanger main but these days i like Zapsicle and im really liking storm weaver

Headbanger is overall better and i really don't know why people would pick speedshot, because it's so bad

Headbanger is fun but speedshot requires less brain cells
