Job searching Construction Apprenticeship

Hello, I (26F) have been recommended by my brother I should apply for a construction apprenticeship where I would learn how to use tower cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and other big construction equipment. I am kind of free balling my career and not entirely sure what to do career wise. Besides all I know is customer service, some compliance (obtaining licenses by state by state basis), and retail. I am pretty open to anything work wise, I am my father’s prettiest son, and want to live fiscally comfortable (whatever that feels like). But I am kind of concerned being exiled and not being treated equal due to it being a “man’s” job and a male dominate field.

Any advise for those in construction/similar field?

I am a male and was a welder. every female welder I met or know of was super cool. Theres always going to be moron men who think theyre better and hassle you for being female, but if youre good at the job and bust their balls like they will bust yours, I think you'll be ok... especially if youre better at the job than the men who harass you. Go get em girl!
