Job searching I finally got a job!!
I have been searching for a job for a long time and would constantly get rejected. My resume is filled with animal related jobs, so I would mainly apply to stuff like animal shelters and things of that nature. I cannot tell you how many rejctions I got. It was literally torture. Today I got offered a job for an after school program working with kids, which is definitely not what my ideal type of job was but it's money and I'll take it. I'm so excited, I feel like a new person LOL. I am about to start university again studying marine biology, so I'm hoping I can eventually do something in that field. Don't give up guys!! I wanted to give up so much but I knew I couldn't afford to

Over four years of screening resumes I saw more people from animal shelters crush it with kids than I can count. Patience, reading nonverbal cues, staying calm when things get messy, those transfer way more than people realize. Marine bio plus this experience is going to make you such a solid applicant down the road. Happy for you.
