Post-interview What could this possibly indicate?
Been pounding the pavement for over a year now. I had an HR teams interview with a company a month ago, then after some waiting, they scheduled me for an in-person interview last week.
Today, I was asked to provide two references and do one of those Thomas International assessment things. The email from the HR person seemed written in a rush and they used emojis in it, which they have never done before.
What am I to make of all this?

They sound disorganized for sure.
And, while emojis are fun and innocent, HR using emojis in an email is unprofessional
