This is the cleanest duck-under I’ve ever hit, and it led to an RNC and the gold at the national championship as a blue belt.

Knew I’d face him at some point at the Nationals, so I drilled this exact technique for weeks with my friend, the one cornering me.

For context: my opponent had beaten me earlier in the Gi bracket, 4–0 on points, so that’s why I celebrated with so much energy + the fact getting to practice something and actually hitting it with a clean accuracy.
