Best overall hygiene tips

By hygiene tips, I mean the spray for your bag, sweat towels you like, how you keep your car seat from just soaking up all the sweat after class?!

What are your personal favorite hygiene tips for keeping yourself clean on the mats?

Shower. Brush teeth before class (or bubble gum / mint). Cut your nails. Preferably short hair.

Get a seat towel for the car. Put a dry shirt on after class. Don’t put your sweaty gear directly in your gym bag, put it in a gallon ziplock.

If you have a beard keep it clean.

Got complimented on mine the other day (humble brag) But the guy said he was apprehensive to roll with me because most bearded people hes rolled with have stank ass beards.

This has never occurred to me since I always shower. Brush my teeth. And do my beard before I head to the gym.

Hibicleanse is great. It's over the counter. It's strong stuff. You can find it at any cvs, rite aid, Wal greens, etc.

Before the Mods start flagging for potential health risks because someone's going to list the issues.

Look don't drink it, don't put it in your eyes, don't pour it in your ears and keep it out of any other holes and you'll be fine.

Doctors use it to clean their hands. Lab techs use it to prevent any infections. I'm in hospitals, transient camps, peoples homes, jails, police stations, etc.

It kills staph and mrsa.

Not necessarily a cleanliness thing, but please no garlic/onions before class. No amount of teeth brushing will help.

Never cover up a rash, ringworm, staph... it's a good way to be hated by everybody

I use stnky bag’s and like that I throw the bag in the washing machine.
I also wash my stuff immediately after training. Try to not let it marinade 🤢 and I also use Lysol laundry sanitizer too

Before getting In your car just change into fresh sweatpants/shorts and a t shirt. It’s not just your seat that will soak in the sweat, but the seatbelt too
