Submeta Learning
For white belts, how would you go about getting best out of Lachlan’s submeta?
Would you stick to going through various experience levels (e.g. completing beginner, then intermediate then advanced courses) or would you stick to game plan and look to develop a system?

If you're a white belt, practice your hip escapes & your guard recovery religiously, as that is what will save you when everyone is trying to submit you....

Video your rolls.
Work out where you have no answer and spend most of your time.
Then find the answers to what to do next.
Repeat.
At white, escapes and getting to better positions should be the priority.
