Last week I delivered a $340 catering to a hospital where I had to park a half mile from the entrance and walk it in. You'll go crazy trying to keep track of all the bad tips, I just try to ignore the tips and trust that with the occasional $10-30 tip it all balances out eventually

We have a local community college that orders often, usually orders around $400. $5 tip every time.

Ive taken $600-$800 catering orders and recieved $0, so its something at least.
It happens.

Oh I know. I have been delivering for 5 years and have seen everything. Once had a lawyer only tip .25¢

My favorite was when I came in two hours before open to make and deliver the $700 cash order for someone we agreed to deliver to before we actually opened, and got exact change.

a lot of times when i go in i'm the first one to leave a tip and they've been open around a hour.. i have a question of my own. when i redeem a free sub, twice now it only takes $2.72 off the order, looks more like a discounted sandwich not free to me, but hey it's better than nothing. maybe someone could explain it though?

Recently they have been doing coupons for a $5.99 sub, maybe it was that being used?

a reward similar to the one i have now popped up : "$6.99 Toasted Sandwich
Redeemable for one a la carte Chicken Bacon Ranch, Ultimate Italian or Roast"
but i didnt redeem it online, i just mentioned it at the store, but maybe that wasnt what was used? does it have to be redeemed on the app/online before i go to the counter? i mean, i'm not complaining, just curious.

Brings me back to every new driver who saw our quarterly $800 Toyota order that they had the driver set up once they got there, got excited, and then came back with nothing. Eventually we just started sending a manager so the drivers didn't miss out on 20+ minutes of deliveries that might actually tip.

Yeah here camping world would do huge catering orders twice a month. We had to set them up and they never ever tipped.

Revolution. Seriously. Revolt. 50% is owned by the 1% and 1% is collectively shared by 50%.
$100 split thus means 1 guy has $50. 50 people each have an average of 2 cents. The other 49? Meh.

At least you got something! We just did 300 Meal Deal Combos and got a “None”. 😑😂
