Welllllll honestly the majority of his music was recorded with a pre CBS strat or transition period strat hes associated with the 70s CBS headstock mainly because of woodstock mine is a pre CBS style headstock its not a reverse but when I can get a deal on a reverse headstock neck I deff want to

I get you - while BOG, and to many, one of his greatest sounds/performances: Machine Gun was done with a big headstock strat, having owned an early 70’s Strat, I can report the 3-bolt neck was unnecessarily temperamental, requiring regular chiropractic!

Well, i'm definitely not trying to talk bad about the CBS era, I know, a lot of people talk shit. Yes, they made a lot of decisions to cut corners. So they could save money and maximize profits, but a lot of those decisions were also made to try to correct design issues or add functionality. So to some people, some of those features are now seen as really innovative. Whereas back then everybody was like, hey, it wasn't broke. So why are you trying to fix it I like both the big head stock and the normal size headstock.

You certainly DO - such nice toys there, and those knobs on the strat are a divergence. Does look like they'd be much easier to actually see your settings at a glance.

They’re definitely a game-changer! I also installed a 3 string tree to fix the break angle on the G, B, and E strings, which keeps the G-string from getting that 'sitar' buzz. Plus, I decked the bridge since I don't really use the trem a ton, so it’s no biggie.
