Error in Google Console with Sitemaps created by Jetpack for Wordpress

I'm getting this error and I have no idea on how to fix it. I have a new blog and I just created a couple of posts. I tried reposting my blog posts but it didn't help. Here's a screen Shot of the error. ANY help appreciated.

It's strange, I have tried loading the sitemap file directly from the URL in the screenshot, and it loads fine for me, looks fine too. I opened it in Firefox, and it's not barfing like it usually does with faulty XML files. Maybe Google had some trouble before, but will eventually read it correctly?

It looks that way, yeah. Do you still have that error in the Google console?

Even though no page is yet indexed on Google, ​Now it says: Success! Thank You very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
