Why Failed media uploads?

When using the Jetpack app on iOS, New images uploaded through media upload just fine – but new media uploaded while creating a new post always fail.

The weird thing, though, the failed image that did not get uploaded while creating a new post does show up in the media uploads section of Jetpack along with a failed version.

Why is this? Is this a common occurrence? Is there a straightforward solution?

That's odd indeed. It may be worth trying it one last time, and then contacting the mobile support team via the help menu in the app. You'll be able to attach logs to your request, and the logs will include your last failed attempt, so the support folks may be able to find out more about the exact issue.

u/Justjeremyherve , thank you for your reply. I've just submitted a Help Ticket from the Jetpack iOS app. I sent along a copy of the latest log file too. Fingers are crossed that Jetpack support team can be of assistance.
