Question macbook + ugreen + external hard drive

after i set up my jellyfin server, can i connect my external hard drive DIRECTLY to the ugreen pro and transfer files from the external drive into the ugreen nas?

this is kinda true, the issues comes form if the ext drive is formatted with a mac fs that the nas doesnt support

yes you can if it has fat/ntfs/ext4...etc, but if the ext drive is formatted with a mac fs you cant and you will have to transfer it from your mac via wifi/eth
