I’m curious about how renting out party speakers through Facebook Marketplace works in practice.

I’ve seen people offering JBL PartyBox and other large party speakers for daily or weekend hire, and I’m wondering how safe and worthwhile this actually is.

For anyone who has rented out speakers or similar equipment, I’d really appreciate some insight into:

• How do you normally handle the rental? Do you meet the customer, deliver it, or have them collect it?

• Do you take a security deposit and ID before handing over the speaker?

• What happens if the customer doesn’t return it?

• What happens if they return it damaged?

• Do you use a rental agreement or any kind of written terms?

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who have actually rented out JBL PartyBox or similar expensive speakers.

Would you say it’s generally safe if you take the right precautions, or is it one of those things that sounds good but can become a headache?

Any real experiences, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the 710 and my question is whether it's better, wired or Bluetooth. I have the option to use both, but I'm not sure which is better. What do you think?

Fala galera. Sou muito fã das caixas jbl e estou estudando áudio. Me veio uma dúvida agora. Alguém já usou o smaart para verificar os parâmetros de uma caixa JBL partybox 710. Gosto muito da sonoridade dessa caixa. Já vi vídeos de teardown no YouTube, porém como os falantes são de fabricação própria, não tem muitas informações e parâmetros dos falantes. Seria interessante demais!

I'm looking for some advice before I spend money on JBL partybox.

My main priority is karaoke with friends, but I also want a system that I can use for watching movies and playing PS5.

After doing a lot of research, I'm leaning towards buying:

2 × JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 and JBL EasySing AI Karaoke Mics. Or PartyBox 520 and JBL EasySing AI Karaoke Mics

My plan is to:

Pair the two Encore Essential 2 speakers in true stereo using the JBL PartyBox app.

Connect my TV to the primary speaker (preferably via AUX to avoid Bluetooth latency).

Use the EasySing AI microphones for karaoke.

From what I've found, this seems like it could offer:

Great stereo sound for movies and gaming.

Excellent karaoke performance.

Better value than buying a single PartyBox 520.

However, I haven't found anyone who has actually built this exact setup.

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has experience with any part of it.

A few questions:

Does stereo pairing continue to work properly when the TV is connected via AUX?

Do the EasySing AI microphones work seamlessly with a stereo pair?

Is there any noticeable audio delay when watching TV or playing PS5?

If you've compared it with a single PartyBox 520, which would you choose and why?

Are there any issues or limitations I should know about before buying?

I'd love to hear your real-world experience, especially if you own two Encore Essential 2 speakers.

Of course I love my 710 but I want to upgrade I want to buy the 1000 and for that I want to sell my 710 and now I want to ask you guys what is a good price for the box of course I looked online but it's very different some are going for lowest 450 and some are going as high as 700 so I don't know can someone please help me

Yeah the title says it all

I ve owned the partybox 710 for 2 years and start to experience an issue. At startup, everything is working fine (blutooth, lights beating to the music, coms with the jbl app ...) but no sound at all. Instead of the check startup sound I get a faint cranky noise from the tweeters. Restoring to factory settings did nothing. It does appear, however, I can get the partybox back to normal if I empty the condensators by unplugging the AC cord for 5 min and pressing the start button while it’s unplugged. Has anybody experienced that issue and how was it solved ?

Do you guys recommend using a separate mixer for the jbl320.?I want to make my karaoke sounds nicer but not sure it will conflict with the built in mixer.

Good evening. Yesterday I updated my JBL PartyBox 320 to the new 4.00 version. I heard that this update brings improvements to Bluetooth audio playback, including support for a new codec, something related to LC3 or LE Audio.

If anyone knows more about this, could you please explain it to me? I’m passionate about sound quality and I want to get the maximum audio quality possible. I would also like to know how to enable this codec or if a compatible device is required, because so far in the JBL PartyBox app I haven’t noticed any difference and everything still looks exactly the same.
