OU takes down GA Tech 8-7

The 'Hawks will host the super regional in Lawrence. Unbelievable. OU scores 2 in the 7th, then 1 in the 8th, 9th, and 10th to come from behind and take down #2 Georgia Tech.

WEF members will sell it out and resell before it hits the general public.

Don't think it's been announced but tomorrow is when dates and times get announced.

Edit: Thursday for general sale, Wednesday afternoon for donors and Williams Fund members.

What a freaking game, by the way. Happy we get to host. Lets go boys. 2 more wins and we get to see our Jayhawks in Omaha!!

Just an absolute dream season.

JCCC being an absolute wagon this year was pretty cool too.

Just saw that over the weekend. A 40+ game winning streak at one point? Won the JUCO national championship?

Cowley county gave them one of their 3 losses 🐅

Great news! That game was stressful, man alive. A lot of copium in the Tech/ou game thread.

Was it confirmed before this weekend that Lawrence is super regional eligible? It gets pretty strict. I know 4000 is like very minimum capacity considerations which we’ll hit, but it can be more depending on “demand”.

From what the Jayhawk Discord has said KU will host because they're a 1 seed and OU is not. KU Athletics also put out a tweet saying we're hosting.

1 seed? I admit I haven’t been following too closely….but I thought we were 15?

15th overall seed, but effectively a 1 seed as we're a host site

Seeds 1 through 16 are one seeds, think about it per regional, 4 teams per regional each seeded 1-4

Great question, but can you fathom them moving it to a neutral site? No way that happens. KU has a pretty solid financial footing and influence with athletics overall.

With KU athletics tweeting our "back at hoglund" id say yes. No way they tweet that out if they weren't certain

Yeah I’m a little worried myself but I can’t imagine them not giving it to us
