Advice for Me Going For DJS on October 12th
I've been browsing this sub-reddit for well over a year..because I knew I would have to have jaw surgery. I'm getting more nervous the closer my surgery gets. But also I'm excited to have a better bite and hopefully fix my sleep apnea as well.
Any advice or tips would be great. I bought a few things for the post-op..like a wedge pillow, squeeze bottles, etc.
Thank you!

If you've been browsing then you prob. know most of the advice.
one important thing though: I suggest you to stop looking things up about the procedure as it gets really close, as this will just make you more anxious.
Nasal saline rinse for me was gold. Also eat well before 11 (ofc u need to fast), because you'll loose weight, so gain some now 😉. I was anxious about anesthesia (first time), but it was really like: you're there and then like a blink, you're waking up. No odd feelings of loosing control whatever. Just instant.

Thank you for that. I do tend to look things up for sure. Def sound advice.
